I forget she had quite a long peak period, as in truly great for some time 👏🏽this is clear evidence. can’t even imagine what these Glyndebourne tickets were like 🥵

Wow! She is fierce, but even more important she is vocally accurate. Every note properly in place. The only performance I know of that also makes me tremble is by Gwyneth Jones at the Paris Opera in 1985. Her high-Bs are probably still resounding in that building!
