Just because someone doesn’t like a show doesn’t mean that they watch it or that they are incapable of changing the channel. People who are quick to jump one the “why don’t you just change the channel” bandwagon, are usually those who do not have an original thought of their own in their head, which often causes them to latch onto this empty rhetoric that makes them feel more smart or clever. If anyone were to actually do their homework and were to look at the track record of the view, (and if that person had at least half a brain in their head), they would come to the conclusion that this show should have been canceled a long time ago. The only reason it was even able to last this long is most likely because it was aired on a channel that is not paid for by everyone. It was part of the 3 channels that you can watch if you’re poor and/or only relying on a converter box for programming. That means a lot of stay at home moms would have it on in the background during the day, regardless of whether they were watching the show or not, and the show was able to reach a lot more people since not everyone has not had to pay for it. Furthermore, when you have a converter box with 3 channels, sometimes all the shows on all the channels suck so you get into a routine of watching the lesser of the evils, which was likely The View for many women.

Piers Morgan was forced out of his position for just saying Harry and his wife were lying about the royal family being racist. Harry's come out now, after all this time and said, "We never said my family was racist. It's an uncommon bias." Piers Morgan was forced off of Good Morning Britain for telling the truth but it offended Harry and his wife so he had to go. Sharon Osbourne was forced off of The Talk for defending Piers Morgan. Piers, Sharon and many others were forced out of their jobs for telling the truth but it offended the leftist so they had to go.
