Caution re: the papers. I have thermal printed cash register receipts that have completely faded away despite being stored in the dark. The 2 year paper is great for addressing a package or dressing up a calendar but I wouldn't trust it in my artwork. Better to go with the longer-lasting papers. How about a video on how to add color to the various surfaces? I'm really enjoying your Phomemo series. You persuaded me to buy one of my own!

Great video Nina. It has reminded me to get mine out again and have a play. I bought the piano key version a while back and it’s so cool looking. It’s nice that they have lots of paper types. I did look before but some of them seemed quite pricey. Still a roll seems to last quite a while. Shame they’re not permanent though. Xx

just ordered the Phomemo M04s and some of there 4 inch papers for it, can not wait to play with it, especially as they do a Linux driver for their printers, I have a Paperang P2 thermal printer, but they don't do a Linux driver for it, only Windows and android

Hi Jennifer, it’s a great little printer and yes mine is still working. I tend to use it for card making as the images are the perfect size. I should use it more often and perhaps I will keep it on my desk to make sure that I do.

I was watching another KZbin artist who was raving about this and she avoids the copyright issue by taking photos of her own work to print - this might be another use for master boards where you wouldn’t have to run off to the printers shop. The gold paper is great! Not so crazy about the Sakura paper, it’s a whole roll of the same stuff, cute but too one note for my taste. Can you paint over the transparent paper?

Oh it scans beautifully. Its the easiest gadget I have ever come across. If I can use it, anyone can! I don’t see why you couldn’t paint over the transparent paper.

Hi Jane, the photo’s are quite grainy, but I do believe there is a newer version to the one I have with a better dpi. These are great if you just want to add lightweight photo’s as a reference in a travellers note book or decorate a planner etc... as they are not bulky in any way. I hope that helps 💕

It depends on the amount you are spending. The government have recently changed the customs threshold, so I would google it and check. Hope that helps.

Hi There, I have not noticed any fading at all yet, although I would eventually expect to some fading with the regular paper roll that comes with Phomemo. The transparent paper is long lasting (20 years +). I hope that helps 💕

Esther Chatz no printer cartridge needed, it works by heating the paper in the shape of the image. The paper is a little pricey but seems to go a long way xx

Hi i know this is old but I wanted to let you know that around 11:31 you mention not throwing away the scraps from when they are torn off. I just watched a video on Y.T. her channel is called @Humblechan She also did a video on a different one & had a great idea to save paper. After each print she shuts it off and rolls it back in. Otherwise there is like an inch or less left blank. So I thought I'd let you know. It was simple and easy, and I'm sure the paper isn't cheap. I hadn't saw the colored papers. I absolutely love your channel. Sorry to ramble... But a long time ago I said to my husband I tend to follow You Tubers from around the world and am drawn to you all. Initially I thought it was the accent (which of course we all like hearing one anothers). But, I then realized it was more about hearing things you do the same or differently, your words, or stories from your part of the world. Sorry to carry on. But as I said you and like 5 others are my go to. I also love Maremi /Marta in Ireland, Treasure Books in Australia, and Donna also in Australia on Junk Journal Ideas. And so many other from English speaking countries. I love the history of the U.K too. My 1st video I watched and was hooked and messeged you was you making water colors in the heart shaped ice cube tray. My 1st ones were great and I even uses cheap mica from AliExpress. Later I invested in good mica powders ,gun Arabic, honey, and glycerin. They looked good but even with adding more of the gum Arabic and trouble shooting they never adhered properly like the 1st. Oddly after a few months I opened and 3 or 4 of the 15 or so had mold. Which was so odd with honey which is supposedly meant to prevent this. I mixed so much and couldn't get the consistency I had before and I think adding more and more of each messed it up. Lol Happy Holidays .... I am bored and on self quarantine. Hope all us well with you.
