My favorite, too. Dimash doesn't do bad performances, and he has a great many videos here on KZbin which amaze, but this one is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and he smashes us with 3 hugely different techniques, all of them incredible. I had never before heard breathy vocal fry like Dimash does in this song, let alone imagined that it could sound so good. The song is a master class showing us just how limited traditional pop is, and how to break those limits.

Thanks for nice reaction. Dimash play 7 or more instruments. Piano trainings he start at age 5, same time as singing lessons. At age 6 he won piano competition. He sings in 12 different languages. 💖

I dont know where to start talk about this world fenomen Dimash is. Last year i´ve followed this tremendous beauties of Dimash. So honest, so storytelling every time he ´s on stage. I do engage and love this interaction of you react on Dimash, Nina. He´s the most complete singer in every class all over the world in my option. This all performance of dimash is just amazed dazzling and i´ve heard near all of hes songs hundred and hundred of times and every time i do hear and fells new sounds and hes technique just developing from time to time. He speaks his native language of Kazakhstan, just below Russia, and Russian, and is studing Chinese, Frence and English as I understand it, and sings in about 4 or 5 more, very unique and of a humble spirit. And besides piano, I believe he plays 2 or 3 more instruments.

Lara Fabian co-wrote Adagio in 1999, released it on her self titled album in 2000. Dimash has idolized Lara Fabian for years... and has likely been singing this song for at least 10.... should be no surprise he can connect with the song...

This is still one of my favorites ❤️ You could do a couple more of his The Singer performances, I think they are still some of his best (Unforgettable Day, Autumn Strong, Daididau, Confessa/Diva Dance). I am a Canadian, and if you do not know we have the extreme honour of having two of the queens of music from our country, one is Celine Dion ( love that womans voice ) and the other is Laura Fabian ( whom I also love to listen to ). Love your explain. There was Farinelle in late 1600 sang similar to Dimash. I think we get crazy alien level type of singer every 500yrs. No other guy as far as I know has range like Dimash. One of a kind. I have a lot of respect for him.

Please do keep going as soon as possible as he had 13 performances on Singer 2017 & a guest one on Singer 2018, the year that Jessie J competed. 5 in 2017 were in English & you can find some stories & video with subtitles for most of the others on the channel Gloria Wu. Please use the story for Autumn Strong & Daybreak with the video with subtitles but have tissues ready. This was 1 of many surprises he had for the competition & audience when he sat at the piano. During Singer he played a total of 3 instruments out of the 7 he can play. He sings in 12 languages.
