I WAS HERE LIVE!!!! I was only 8 years old then and it was the first concert I attended, but everything was so vivid to me. I can literally feel the arena's vibration when Regine belts. This 2-night concert was so big that even the Philippine's President attended it with her (I think) 30+ escorts. FACTS: 1. They have a mini skit in this concert shown in-betweens where they TORRIDLY KISSED 🤣🤣🤣 They even spoke in a different language and dubbed it in Tagalog to make it look like a Telenovela (Spanish dubbed in Tagalog) 2. 10 years after this, Martin admitted in an interview that he and a crush on Regine during this tour 3. Martin, the PH Concert King, already had a big name when Regine was starting and he and his ex-wife gave her more exposure, even suggested Chona (Reg's nickname) should use the name "Regine". 4. During the concert, Martin's mic was set to maximum volume, while Regine's mic was set to half so that Martin cannot be easily overpowered by Regine's voice. Regine even had migraine attacks during these numbers, so bad that she was rushed to the hospital after the event. 5. Up to this day, in spite of their 30 years of friendship and contributing huge histories in each other's career, Martin is still surprised by Regine's capabilities, often claiming her HIS FAVORITE SINGER OF ALL TIME.

I also remember reading somewhere that Regine had the migraine and also spiked quite a high fever during this performance (going to the hospital afterwards), which makes the fact that she sang as amazingly as she did all the more astounding.

Everything here was great. Production of ABS-CBN, the Philippines largest and best network. The god and the goddess. The Concert King Martin Niever and the Queen Regine Velasquez. Madam, you are super blessed to hear and see the greatest singers our nation or better yet greatest pop singers in history. To whom can we compare these two vocal god and goddess in pop music? Martin the Pavarotti conterpart. I learned lately that he was a baritone. What more if he was a tenor? BUT that's what made him super unique. Their team up is such a great tandem. Their vocals are SUPERB, to the highest level. Their vocals are really ment for concert. We thank KZbin cuz it makes us see the past anytime, anywhere. If they were in broadway, they would dominate it. Regine mentioned that she was supposed to play the lead role of Miss Saigon. But she rejected it. Still we love Lea, and proves she is perfect for the role. Marti and Regine should have their rightful throwns in the global stage. To match them will be an IMPOSSIBLE task. A mission impossible. If they were in broadway they will set the new or highest standard ever. Too high that no one can reach. You need to wait a hundred year or maybe a thousend year for such talent rise. Tell me who can match these goddess and god? I would not dare compete with Martin in a concest despite my pretty powerful singing voice. Better show their videos to your students. :-) Set them as your [new] (if you have none yet) standard.
