What a lovely surprise to come across you and your channel. Twenty years ago a designer friend told me about the existence of the Color Council . It was news to me yet made perfect sense that something I find so vital to my experience of life...Color ! .....would be so intentional in the lives of designers, and need to have it's own Council. Thank you for showing us the look forward into 2025. I live where there are many palm, eucalyptus and olive trees and as the outer husks fall from the palm trees and the lovely grey green eucalyptus leaves and dark olives fall, I am inspired by the rich brown interior wood of the palm husks and the soft rich green of eucalyptus and the moody color of the olives. I dream about how to make a statement textured wall from the palm husk wood. Looking forward to watching your other videos.

I love pairing dark walls/ceilings with white, bright accessories and rugs. My favorite room has Black Sapphire walls and ceiling with jewel tones and white rugs, exotic metal lanterns and big mirrors. It’s amazing and lush.

I have always loved dark and moody regardless of trend. But I’m not a judger 😂. However, I love your sofa! I think it’s difficult for our untrained design eyes to look beyond our personal setting instead of looking at the setting for the person living in that space. May not work in my setting but is beautiful in your setting. And to you designers, the white walls, I will always love, I think they create a simple backdrop for some art.

I’d say tbh most of these we already know about, they’ve been running rampant in 2024 but if you get the last one correct with everyone buying metallic sofas in 2025 I’ll give you credit for informing me about that. I did buy some metallic trainers a few months back. 🤔

Ahh these trends come and go, dont they? My home is light and airy with pops of color throughout. Ive had the brown, red, eggplant, dark navy colored walls before, so Ive had that experience before. I like that you explain to people these are just the trends. You dont have to change everything in your home..just incorporate it if you want to. There is a channel Ive watched before and the lady is so rude. She and her husband have little chats at times where they talk about design; however, they seem to demean or make fun of people when they DONT follow all of the trends. Ive actually seen them laugh at people because they dont/cant follow the trends, or have marble countertops like the rich. Ill say this, her name starts with a V.....so thank you for being kind and explaining what TRENDS are and how people can incorporate them, if they choose 😊❤

You lost me at the metallic couch! Neither visually appealing or inviting. The best use of metallics, in my opinion, is to compliment. Once you bring them to the forefront warmth and comfort are lost. They evoke a cold hard vibe that only belongs in a commercial kitchen. The rest of the trends are very worthy of including in a home that wants to be fresh, interesting, and warm. Thank you for the great info.

If you’re planning on selling, be very careful with trends! Trends go away in a blink of an eye. Many sellers painted the whole interior agreeable grey and it was out within a month! Painting and possibly selling in the next 3 years, reach out to a local realtor or local home stager (that stages for homes to sell) before you paint! In metro Atlanta, I’m happy to help for free!
