I love that they did this 26 years after the release of the record, because "26 years, on my way to hell" in Wish, of course Trent would do that.

The only great screamer of the 90's to still have his voice intact!

I noticed that Last, Happiness In Slavery, and Physical were all tuned down, presumably to make them easier for Trent to sing.
@ruiner31372 жыл бұрын
I actually don't think HIS was tuned down, I think he's just not pushing his voice on the highs anymore. Last sounds really good tuned down in my opinion. It works for sure. The slow and sleazy version of Physical rules too
@Ullish19892 жыл бұрын
I noticed this on another live performance of Last, not much just in those songs he's obviously hitting a pretty high on his register and it makes it easier like you said. Good call I say

Happiness in Slavery’s played here in the same key as Woodstock - E minor rather than the studio F minor - and as at woodstock, he avoids going up to the highest parts of ‘he’s going to cause the system to fall’. His delivery’s still strong and glorious, though. Last and Physical are both down a tone from the studio releases, but by god, they’re still both high!

Best EP ever made, arguably my favourite NIN songs for almost the last two decades. Wish I was there so bad I can't explain.

I like that this footage is here, but also really dislike that it is. So many people with cell phones up blocking views vs connecting with the performance. Le Sigh.

Concerts need phone slapping pits these days, film at your own risk.

i get what you're saying but if it wasn't for phones we wouldn't be watching this......definitely should be a perimeter put up though...a 30 yard exclusion zone....lol

Bands need to start getting official photographers and videographers and ban phones. This way they can monetize their own content by publishing it on their own. Also nobody wants to look at the phone of the idiot standing in front of them.
@michaeldaly66625 жыл бұрын
@@rehpotsirhc123 it's all about concert etiquette. if you're gonna video it. do it at your head height. these pricks that feel the need to hold the phone at arms length...or just stand at the back and let the rest of us watch the band.

Soft ass crowd. Man, how times have changed. 20 years ago if phones were around like that at a NIN show they would have been blown up on the floor. Pits were real.

If I remember correctly, they had the seats installed all the way up to the front at this show (some shows have a small, pit area open at the front.) That is why no one is moving around. Packed tight and stuck between chairs.
@smahring4 жыл бұрын
True.. alot depends on the venue.. open air places usually have seating right up to the stage, but arena shows get straight crazy with the open floor!
