But those to give that life up are the ones who truly discover it. Hope and peace are in Jesus Christ. Don't clutch this life and this world so tightly that you miss true peace and eternal life.

What happened with Nine Lashes ?I realized i almost forgot about this amazing band because we didn't recieve any updates or new music. I started listening to you some years ago and i really love your music, the last album included . As other fans stated , it isn't a bad thing to go beyond the boarders and experiment in different genres . That's how you evolve : you try new things and add them or discard them from your library of knowledge . I hope nothing bad happened to you and that you can still kick ass in the future with your singing abilities ! I love your music and i am waiting for your return ! 💜💜🤘

Funny story: I was stuck living "at home". I wanted to move out. I couldn't. This song came out and I desperately wanted to make that the day that it would happen. I tried hard and it didn't happen. Then I saw things a different way. Sometimes in the Bible a day is symbolic of a year. Later last year I was watching (or had just watched) an ad for a Sherlock Holmes movie and heard a voice ask what road I thought I would live on. I responded with two: Holmes (which I didn't even think there were any roads by that name) or River (from an insurance ad). It said based on context which do you think it is? and I responded Holmes. I didn't tell anyone but someone got me an apartment on Holmes Road a few months later. I broke out after all (or the Lord broke me out!). Nine Lashes: you've meant a lot to me, and this isn't the only time. Thanks for your devotion to the Lord.

Really glad you're getting heavier. I don't like pop music myself, so for me this is pretty great. Don't mind a combination of rock/techno but wouldn't really like you guys to go purely in an electro/pop direction. Like the combination, like bands like Starset and Dead By April.

This is the best way to mix the old and new. They're showing more focus on their faith but keeping the type of music that their listeners want. To be perfectly honest, Ascend wasn't a bad album, it was under the wrong band, if it was a side project everyone would've been fine with it. That asides, really enjoying the new stuff. WOW this is awesome. Reminds me of From Water to War. Which is my favorite NL album. Most people seem to prefer World We View but if you ask me like, that album was flawless from track 1-7, and then tracks 8-11 just fell flat. Write It Down being by far the best of those last 4. From Water to War only had one blemish to me. Cover Your Own. It just wasn't engaging enough to end the album for me
