Dennis Blessing served with the 1st Cavalry Division (US Army) in South Vietnam, 1966-1967. Among many other battles, he participated in the Battle of Bong Son (May 1966). He was one of only six in his platoon to emerge from the battle unwounded. He shares other memories from his tour of service.
