@@VishuddhaDas let me answers that's for u... It doesn't matter Buddha answers as long as the answer u get satisfies u take ur understanding to the point it shd Is soul different fm body yes.... U can say soul is the joy in u.... Nd same is God.. Ie ur part of that... And as long as u wish to attach w the body... U will b attached to suffering.. Is it difficult to relieve urself from suffering.. No.... U have to understand both soul n body.. Nd wr suffering comes from eg is it ur insecurities of life, is it physical suffering ie pain, emotional or etc once ur above that.. Second does the universe exist.. It exists as long u exist after that it doesn't.... So stay happy nd live in present means to enjoy ur present time or use it if u don't wish just relax ur not going 2 die the next min... Okay don't rush relax nd consider life a play n joy.. B a child u dint have sadness for not getting back usually is in the past nd if future rattles u then u know u have to bring urself back.... Emotional is largely physical ie food so fasting is recommended to relieve ur body to do excess work ie digestion or toxins from building up many animals eat once.. So u shd learn to do that and observe ur mind to the point no thoughts harm u

Thanks for the video, I have really enjoyed your content. I personally think the Buddha knew the exact answers to these questions, but also knew that the people of that time were not yet ready to hear them, let alone for them to be answered in mankind’s limited language. Even today we are not ready for the whole truth. But at the end of the day, it is very speculative of us to try to theorize as to why he didn’t answer these questions, especially considering that his wisdom is still much greater than any human alive today and we probably can’t fathom his reasoning.

Great video and explanation! In my studies I dive into these understandings, the metaphysical and esoteric knowledge is my structure as opposed to individualized paths led by incarnate beings. Not to say I don’t study their ways and have infinite love and gratitude 🙏🏼 for them showing us, because I absolutely do - all of them, I see the divinity in every belief system, even those who believe nothing. It’s all Divine order. I do however, agree with what Buddha states about it not being important for what is needed to accomplish in the now. Although I don’t believe he didn’t know the answers, I believe he didn’t want people to get distracted because he did in fact know the answers, and also that it would hinder them to focus on them. All that said, there is a lot of “I believe” statements in the above. The greatest gift to my understanding is actually accepting and realizing - I don’t know anything, this leaves me open to everything. I’ve watched your videos on psychedelic experiences and my personal ones have shown me absolute truth, I’ve seen that place, I’ve been there and experienced the ultimate oneness, and no one can tell me any different than what my experience has shown me and every sacred doctrine I’ve read consistently validates my experiences as truth. But as Hermes taught us in the principle of polarity - all things are but half truths. So what do I know 🤷‍♂️

These questions are fascinating. Buddha was actually one of the Vishnu avatars; I'm pretty sure you are already aware of it. He was probably born in an age where people had started misusing the Vedic texts, and had become selfish and corrupt in many ways. So, he rejected the Vedas, and taught people to look beyond it: the meaning of life; how to live it, etc. And just in Dwapar Yuga, Kṛṣṇa avatar had given Bhagavad Gita which clearly stated in detail about the soul, the body, mind, liberation and everything... We get attracted to a certain avatar and their teachings according to our inner Prakriti. Those teachings have many nuances which changes according to the age we live in.

Buddha was his own avatar or incarnation not Vishnu's , that's another thing that Hinduism is all inclusive religion and it tried to include every tradition in Indian subcontinent so that unity could be maintained it is a combination of many tribal traditions which contradict each other 😂, but base of Hinduism or vedantic conception of God "brahman" is undefeatable till date and that's just heroic.

Excellent summary of questions which the Buddha maintained silence upon. Essentially the texture of the questions, though topical, were intensely secular and not spiritual. Buddha understood it well enough that the questioner is not ready, and quite rightly so, we all end up asking these questions out of pure material curiosity, and that it does not serve any spiritual purpose, as the aim of spirituality is to look within and not outside. Thank you once again for sharing your learning and red flagging these 'useless' FAQ's.

The Anatta doctrine, one of the most important teachings of the Buddha, speaks clearly about the non-existence of the soul and the ego in general. He answered quite clearly on this topic. What you say there are disparate elements gathered from books, not necessarily true. This will not help you at all and even less those who follow you.

Buddha could have answered these questions with one sentence or gesture and at the same time it wouldn't have made any dfference for the people. 🤷‍♂️ There are no questions left for a Buddha and at the same time no question about the true nature of things can be answered without raising new ones. 😉👌 We are all one! 🕉🌎❤ Blessed be 🙌

Some of those questions can drive you close to madness if you sit with them long enough. The idea of the universe being infinite or finite is one of those and the one I've spent the most time trying to answer. You'd think it would have to be one or the other but the universe being infinite makes no sense and neither does it being finite. The question may not even have an answer, being as this is in essence an illusion, so any concepts describing it's nature are pointless.. I'd say people who experience "ego death" on things like DMT and concepts in the Tao come about as close to answering it as possible. People describe being everywhere at once but also nowhere. This makes sense if all are one. Things like distance become non-entities if everything is the same thing. There's alot of paradox outside of our human forms and I think paradox is what lay at the heart of reality. No language can contain the truth of the answers to the questions anyways because "The Tao which can be spoken of is not the true Tao."

If we answer these questions, couldn’t we also just accept that answer and move on to be in the present moment? Sure it might not be as mature as accepting the mystery but wouldn’t that security release the worry? And is it not truly being in the moment to realize that we will die and I need answers about death to determine whether pursuing something in my life is worth it to me? Eye opening video my friend! Glad you’re back!

Many thanks for this video, I’ve definitely fallen into this trap as I’m very analytical and its hard to draw the line on personal growth and reflection and obsession about what is the meaning of life, am I on the right path, is enlightenment the correct path etc… Never considered this problem solving could drag me far off the path and that has definitely happened going down the non dualism rabbit hole of existentialism.

I think those are perfectly valid questions honestly. To ponder about metaphysics and the nature of existance may not have a definite anwser, but in the process we can learn a lot. In fact, if scientist and phisolophers didn't asked that type of questions we wouldn't have modern physics and therefore the modern technology that allows this video to exists, for example.

Buddha didn't know that he Was life. He thought he became some beacon of the thing he was "coming from". And so he quieted his mind to the degree that he could find the good answers from the mind relatively quick. But to his demise.. haha :D Naa the fudge do I know.. :D If you're still reading.. cool.. I would like to share a story that came to me today.. Interested? Keep reading.. If not, then.. You are hear-by signing of your right to complain.. I hosted a Q&A today and I weren't scared at all.. I am 35 years old and my whole life i've been amazingly scared of speaking infront of people.. Today I stod there, with No resistance.. Not before, not during, not after.. It was only the best experience in the now as possible. And people loved it, I loved it. It became something great. Now... How the fudge has this got anything to do with the topic at hand so to speak.. I've come to have found the source of who and what I am. Or in other words.. I've found myself.. And not the self clicking on the keys here.. That guy who thinks he is who he thinks he is.. The thinking mind is the best tool for the guy here.. But you don't find nirvana by training it like a dog. There is all the need for the mind in this life, but the mind is Not in any sort of control. The mind is a fudging pinky toe in relation to the truth of who you are. And not the you, sitting reading this. That to, but the small thinking your a human you is not the truth. You live that and you get suffering. Suffering is because, you haven't yet found the truth of who you are. You are. Thats is. Find it by asking. Be free.

Maybe this question is one of those, but I have been intrigued recently about intelligence and the Buddhist teachings. In particular. Where does intelligence lie? Is that part of the consciousness or our current physical bodies? It seems to me that consciousness and intelligence need to be intimately intertwined, but I am happy to be educated about the matter 😅

According to Dhamma (DN 1 Brahmajala Sutta)that Buddha thought, those questions have already answered or explained. Therefore, as far as my understanding, Buddha didn’t want to answer those questions because many people often asked him. Also, those questions are stupid for Buddhism. Depends on person, Buddha explained about the questions and how to solve. For example, when a monk named Malukya Putta asked for answers, Buddha blamed him but Aggi Vissa ,who didn’t take refuge in Buddha, He explain the Dhamma.

Thanks for the nice video. I would like to share my views on some of the questions what Buddha didn't answer. The body and soul is not separate. The consciousness comes from the thought process and memory. Which we think as the soul. After death our body goes back to the nature, the thought process ends completely and everything is finished. Any energy cannot remained in a confined state after death as the entropy has to be increased. Human beings never love to realise that nothing is permanent ,so like to believe in continuation. Only our gene remains and keeps on evolving.

Another reason Buddha didn’t answer most of these questions is cuz “ the boundaries of our universe are not the boundaries of our universe” these answers get become relative to the state of wisdom you’ve attained and grow as your wisdom deepens. Only another Buddha can understand even if he did speak about those. ✨

In the zen traditions, the greatest Buddha's sermon was the one in which he sat for a while with many of his disciples but without uttering a single word. In his silence he was indeed teaching the highest teaching. Only the monk Mahakasyapa understood what he was conveying. The ultimate truth cannot be conveyed in words. Its not a concept to be understood. Its something akin to experience.

Life and death - two sides of the same coin. Life implies death; death implies life. Same with the duality of existence and non-existence. It is at the edge of the proverbial coin of such dualities, where truth resides - the infinite number of points which contain no distinctions or boundaries between such perceived dualities. This is unity, this is oneness. The many as the one, the one as the many.

This question can be answered in two parts, either you remain calm or you have to practice it. Most of the people think, why Buddha did not answer them directly , because these questions has a unexplainable answer, even if this be answered is given your mind still not be satisfied, so this can only be known through the practice or be silent, budhha choose to be silent according to the situation. So in my opinion it would not be right to say that Buddha did not answer this. Buddha has already given the answer. The answer to this is to remain silent. Or come and see by yourself.

The universe is a closed eternal mass-energy conversion phenomena. The spirit + body are not the same things yet they are bound together due to sensual desire. One exists after death, but we are zero dimensional, so in that sense, we do not physically exist after death. I don't think the Buddha had words like zero dimensional. And today, we know how the universe works.

I am buddah as there is only buddah. You cannot read or write. You cannot listen or speak. You cannot experience anything. You is only thought and thought can't experience. So, all that you experience is not you experiencing. There is nothing separate in this one and only reality to have free will. An individual has never done anything as there is no individual. There is no one.

I will do the same. The complexity of our universe without truly measurements in a scientific way in logical terms are not considered an correct answer. Neither is the facts that our body and souls are complexity of living particles and energy that keeps changing all the time and forms! Definitely not during Sakyamuni time can you proof of any of that, not even now that we known of the more than 10 existing dimensions and space. We don't have to complicate things or lives here! Just see good, hear good and do good. Irrespective to any good teachers teaching. Then we will not worry which heaven to go. Is Peace and Love that really matters most! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The 9th one is wrong. It should be, Do enlightened beings do exist after death? or don't? It doesn't refer to rebirth.

You mean you really don't know?????? This came to me pretty quickly upon my spiritual awakening when I experienced being filled with a spirit of love for 2 months straight. Every second of every minute. There is no answer unknown to those who ask spirit questions. They want us to know. They don't want it turned into such a huge complication. If it is better for our soul to live by spirit, why would it be so complex and only the most intelligent can figure it out? It's a false belief. Any man can achieve spiritual enlightenment with some effort. It isn't as complicated as we make it out to be. Then again, I've been able to see and hear spirits all my life. Earliest recording was when I was 2 years old. And yes....it trips my parents out that at 40 years old now, I can still recall the whole experience. Every single one of them for my whole life. So don't think these questions are EASILY answerable. They are.

This is exactly where Buddha gave explanations on. What happens after death, enlightenment , what exists.... etc. I think your explanations are based on Mahayana scripts , i don't know. Me as a person who has followed Theravadic Buddhism , and Thripitaka, the teachings there are different. What he said when a question like this comes up is that the question itself is wrong. Because it was asked with wrong understanding. Everything of the world or even thia present moment is a result of dependant orientation or we call it Patichchasamuppada. All these questions are sorted aout according to that. And that is the core of understanding when it comes to enlightenment . One more thing , Buddha was never unsure about anything . When he become enlightened , he gainwd knowledge about everything . ...
