UPD: Controller replacement video is live now, this method is working even for D (Germany) version - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJmbqGqYqM5gjrc IMPORTANT: This method is working and was tested on many scooter and works fine as for DEC 2024 with any version of SW (except D). Don`t ask me regarding S in my serial number, as I can`t lock my scooter to 25 and unlock again. So, I just showed how it works as an instruction. Please follow the guide and ask the questions when you have tried to unlock it. After you unlock it, please dont change any settings in the original app, as it my revert back to 25 km/h and you need to unlock it again!

Brilliant guide, thanks mate! This hack works (12/12/24)on my Australian Max G2 that I just bought last night. I just need to toggle on "Unlock higher speed in S" mode. I didn't have to change the Serial number to "S". My serial number starts with "02GV". When I opened the NineBot app, top speed indication for S mode in settings was still 25km/h, but twisting the throttle in S mode with the back wheel lifted, top speed showed 35km/h. I went for a quick test on my local street at 5:00am and speed was over 30km/h. I didn't dare to push further because the scooter is not allowed on roads. I updated the firmware to latest version too before the hack. Master Control v1.7.6, Battery v1.7.5.7 Bluetooth v1.11.0

To date, this method doesn't work anymore (28/08), with my brand new F2 Pro. Master control: 1.4.15 Battery: 1.2.1 Bluetooth: 5.6.6 So the issue here is the bluetooth I guess, which gives me the "ServerError: 500. Please reboot and try again." I tried it multiple times on 2 different devices, rooted and non rooted and still the same results. I will try every day for a week to see if it ends working.

I followed your step exactly the way you do, and today the ServerError: 500 disappeared, but when i click on "higher speed on S" it still 25kmh showing and i tested the acceleration the e scooter is still stuck at 25. this worked on mine! thank you so much! i got my new scooter yesterday and updated to the latest firmware as of yesterday and even with that firmware i was able to overclock it to 30kmph. it still says its 25 on the app u suggest to use and change the settings on but on the actual scooter itself it now shows its going 30 instead of 25 and u can clearly feel it haha. it doesn't reach 32 but im very happy with the increase from 25 to 30 :)

I have a Max G2E (so it is the European version) And i tried this method, i changed the settings on the video, and none of them worked for me, do i need to do anything special for it to work. I connected the scooter to the app and basically changed the values and closed the app, and it did not work. Did i miss something? Edit: i can't switch on the 'Higher speed in S' it is off always. Can't switch it to on.

Worked for me in Australia. I did what was explained in the vid but changed the ID name and deleted the 4th letter to an S. Do you need to do this? Prob not 😂 but mine went from 25km to 32km on the kick test. Note- the speed bar couldnt be increased to 32 as it wasnt an option.

the main reason of changing serial is to unlock to 30-32. If you cant change it, the only way is to replace controller with global one or order stlink and change. But this will void the warranty

For some reason in that XiaoDash app the min and max bar in basic doesnt exist for me and everything in controls wants money from me. So basically does not work. @@ChinaGalaxyTech I am a bit afraid because I read some disturbing things on scooterhacking that Battery was shown as 7500 instead of 10000 ampers and speed was like 30 but it showed 21, some even fail to start moving after the hack; in my case it already goes to 30 but I need to improve hill climbing so I thought if it goes to 35 it might help; i have a g30 which has no problem with hills, and supposedly the f40 also has 20 degrees angle climb but it stops on some hills where g30 does not. Is there any chance the f40 speed hack will help with this?

@@ChinaGalaxyTech I read it and did everything as you said. I did everything as you described. after I open the segway app and go to custom settings of sport mode, I see for a moment that I can pull the slider up to 40km/h and then in about 1 second the slider goes back to 25. :(

But your scooter is already xxxSxxxxxxxx in serial number… The problem is, that if you got a model from Europe, then you cannot change the fourth character in the serial number anymore, after Segway has updated the firmware, so you cannot tune the speed to 32 in Europe 😔

I can't revert to regular serial number without S, but this method is working as on summer 2024 even if you don`t have S in your serial. If I find not unlock scooter, I will make a video. I just showed the logic in the video, just try and it will work!

Max G2(D) doesn't work with XiaoDash nor the BLE Scanner variant! Please only include Scooter models in your title that you have tested & know it works 100% !!! Otherwise it could be considered as click bait
