So I extract the vocals from the instrumental I upload audio files into fl set it to 140bpm proceed to cook but it's off mainly the accapella or I can't get the beat to fit the vocals I'm self taught so it's only lack of knowledge hit me up if you have any tips great work BTW.

1. use youtube acapella videos as they're almost always higher quality than extracted vocals (unless ur really good at extracting vocals then keep it up) 2. **MOST IMPORTANT BIT ** even when the bpm's are the same they usually won't perfectly fit so use the slice tool (press c) and chop it at the point the acapella is off beat (shift + left click while on slice tool) 3. move clip back n forth until it sounds like its on beat (i usually try to align the ending word with a snare/kick if im confused) 4. once one is on beat keep going back n forth between seeing whats on beat, finding whats on beat, fixing it until u are finished!

@camu5e that's really helpful thank you I'm plugging away each day getting a little better and easier each time I'm using an extractor in most cases as finding an mc with a great flow and delivery who spits at 140 ish who also has an accapela on YT can be tough most important thing for me right now is being able to pad it out with something skippy that does not sound like every drill track of the last 5 years again thank you for the advice genuinely will help me.
