Discos como Band on the Run, RAM son verdaderas obras maestras.

She´s a woman, Ive just seen a face, Back in the USSR, SH, Oh Darling, Monkberry Moon, etc).

What a fantastic jewel of a video!!! I mean, this is probably Paul's best post Beatle tune which, together with all songs from the RAM album, is right up there quality wise with all his best Beatle compositions. The crescendo of this song is phenomenal and the feeling Paul adds while performing it speaks for its own genius self!! Bravisimo!

Along with Paul's, Abbey Road effort, 'Oh Darling'...and this one, 'Nineteen-Hundred And Eighty-Five', are arguably two of his best vocals of his career. Just Paul...belting it out from deep within. Astonishing vocal performance. Astonishing I say.

Back on New Years eve 1984 - 85 (never know which year to label the eve as) when i was 12, we were on holiday for a big family reunion in hawaii (we had flown in from london) and my dad kept playing this song because of its relevancy. I was relieved that George orwell’s predictions for ‘84 did not come true. I remember being shocked when my brother pointed out we were closer to 2000 than we were 1970, now we nearly are closer to 2040 than 2000, terrifying how fast time goes.

I remember this song, I asked what year this came out. I was told 1973 I was born in 1972 I love and miss my parents this reminds of that year 1973 when they were alive and in love with each other. I can't believe that was years ago and it only feels like yesterday. I know in my heart their not dead they woke up and I'm the one still sleeping. Soon I will wake up too and I will feel privileged enough to see them again. I believe that voice when he spoke those words " When U R done here here U will see them again, there's no such thing as death "
