If he lives on a 100+ acres of property I am sure this is no big deal (to a certain point). But if he lives in a neighborhood, this is a huge problem. I would be pissed if I was his neighbor. Building up a raccoon population like that can wreak some serious havoc on people's property. Such as raccoons getting into trash cans, attacking pets, destroying gardens, and getting into roof attics. I hope this man doesn't ever walk outside of his house at the wrong time without food because I am sure these animals will not be so understanding/friendly then.

Mr. Blackwood just a little information from here Louisiana I have a friend that takes care of cats and dogs strays and he gets most of his food from stores they give them the food because the bags are busted if you check at Walmart and tractor supply places like that they’ll probably give you dog food and stuff that would help you with your expenses just an idea love the raccoons take care sir

This is true in Florida too. We get lots of broken bags etc free! Once you inquire, you'll find people want to help out! Also Home depo gives discounts on ripped bags of anything. Maybe Tractor supply and others will too. God bless you Jim!

Scooter is the adorable one that scoots up to Jim then scurries off fast to the corner usually hoarding the hot dogs. Sammy jumps up next to Jim and doesn't mind being petted. Buddy parks it right up on the railing behind Jim to grab at his coat and demand quick feeding of dogs. Buddy the 2nd does similar LoL Camera man is Steven Spielberg who is over in corner top railing who fools with the camera all the time. Blackie is the darker, black fur'd Raccoon.

They are wild animals and this is how they act around food. You can tell a lot about each raccoon's core personality when it is around food. That is how you can tell how aggressive they are and who holds the alpha role verses the bravo raccoon and the beta ones. You never really know a beast until you give them food. The ones that get up behind James are typically less physically aggressive than the other ones who growl as they eat. Those are the smarter Bravo pack members. Raccoons show lots of signs they are very smart little creatures. I give offerings to my local raccoons here as I live on the edge of a large forest with tons of these guys and possums. The offerings I give them each night keeps them out of my garbage cans. Which I had to spend a good amount of time rigging up my cans to where they can't get into them.
