Despite his references, there is something about the building that just ‘feels’ Chinese in the best possible way. It seems to stem from the tradition that made the Chinese garden rather than the tradition that makes electronics etc.

Glad to see you talking about Wangshu’s work, I visited WangShu’s XiangShan campus from outside once, haven’t get a chance to look at the interior yet, but rumour says the interior’s natural light and circulation wasn’t working very well😂

That's fine. That's not why I love this building :D

That building probably was not looking that good as a 3d model! How do you even model these facades? Or create texture for this? Only photo collage. By the way, I love this new series of yours. It would be so great to see one such short video in a day. But I know I'm asking too much:D
@geddan Жыл бұрын
Yea, there are some things that are pretty dificult to showcase/plan-out digitally. That's also a pretty interesting aspect of this building

it's terrible how often the wives of architecture couples are forgotten. So often do i see the book "learning from Las Vegas" credited just to Robert Venturi. architecture is still an extremely sexist profession

It's not even comparable to how it used to be 20 years ago. Miss Zaha had a tremendous effect on this issue~

HEY, VOICE MISSING AT THE END OF VIDEO. OR MAYBE IT WAS HIDDEN MESSAGE?

Damn it... freakin typical. At least it's pretty short
