Mine will start a Man Vs Wild Scenario where I have to survive it's sharp adamantium paws so I have to cover myself as if going to a nuclear testing plant along with a helmet on to make it bath and the most sorry thing is that it's way too clever and cunning for a 2 yrs old little cat as it will notice even a small change in its surroundings.....more like a lie detector in human form.

I once attempted to give my Persian cat a bath. I wore full hazmat suit and body armor. My cat scratched and bite me to leave me bloody and traumatized. Never again would I wash a cat.

Most of cats don't need baths, they keep them selves cleaned with their tongue. Their saliva covers his odour so they can catch better mice and others. It's also anti bacterial. If they are ill, or fell into a substance, or have problems with saliva production it's ok to bathe them. But if they are healty they don't need it.

gosh I hate these comments. There are certain cat breeds that regularly need baths due to their fur. Also if my cat has diarrhea I will bather her booty or if she is outside in a harness and gets dirty etc. and smells shit I will wash her. it is for her own good only. No you do not need to wash your cats like dogs need washing but it is actually often neccessary.
