Not gonna argue the craftsmanship is there, but why not just use large carpentry spikes? The have the cool ardox twist, are already pointy, and if you just cut the head off you have the almost exact same thing but probably only spent like 4.00 for ten and ten min time? That way if you hit a Rock they are easily Sharpened and can be replaced with another 30 cent nail. If you lose one.
