I like mine but I liked my ninja foodi xl better. It took me a little bit to get used to this one. It frustrated me in the beginning. I bought this one for space savings and to cook more at once. I feel like it takes longer to cook than the foodi but you also don't have to preheat it like the foodi so it may come out to the same timeframe. For me, pretty much everything takes 20 minutes at 390 or 400°. I haven't tried the dehydrator yet, but I'm waiting for some aftermarket dehydrator trays that will hold more than just the one rack that comes with it. One thing with this is if you're using the top and the bottom air fryer it will not heat both at the same time. It will cook in the top and then after a while it will switch to heating the bottom and then it'll switch back to cooking on the top and vice versa. So if you're using both top and bottom to cook at the same time, it takes just about double the time to cook. It cooks a lot faster if you just cook in one basket.

I am looking at getting the side by side or double stack watching your videos to see which is best. Both are on sale right now. In your opinion now which one is the better one?
@TheAverageKitchen13 күн бұрын
We have more experience with the side by side, dual basket style. The stack is unique, but it’s very tall. So I guess it depends on how much available space you have. Marc

Try baked peppers... red/orange bell peppers, push in garlic, anchovies and tomatoes, a good glug of olive oil. Air fry 170 for 20 mins then add more tomatoes and a splash of balsamic or red wine vinegar and bake another 10 mins or so. Works fabulously well. I think eggplant and fennel also work well in an air fryer sliced with a good glug of olive oil.

Just found your KZbin channel as I'm getting a Ninja AF. I'm learning a lot from your site. What to do and what not to do. You're experiences and others will save me a lot of time and result in less food wastage. May I suggest that you start each video with a comment that you are following the machines recipe and not one of your own? May cut down on some rude comments from others...

I am super disappointed in cecotec air fryer! Will never buy this brand. After using mine for about 6 montht and hand washing only the paint on the bottom of the drawer and the pan where you place the food is all pealed of in various places. Now it will also start to rust. Even the brand name is off from the drawer. The settings are almost none, despite the fact that it looks like it has a ton of various options. A Ninja used at my parents house, with similar usage, similar amount of time has not even a visible mark. Also washed with hand only. Cecotec air fryier look pretty in the pictures only :(

412 Canadian Dollars? Including shipping, that doesn't sound too bad. US Dollars though? Never. I don't understand the reason they made it vertical unless they did it to save space. The way they made it, the surface that hits the air is much smaller than a normal horizontal machine. They will do anything for sales, but at the end of the day, the original design is the best. keel up the good work guys

I find your review quite biased! 1st, why would you do the beans with the protein? You said yourself the beans only take a few minutes! Silly to do them together! Chicken should have been on the bottom & then add in the last few minutes! The height easily fits in a standard size counter/ cupboard, which is usually around 18”.
@TheAverageKitchen2 ай бұрын
Well, we followed ninjas recipe in the book, if you have an issue when the beans or how the beans were cooked. Reach out to ninja. We’ve done hundreds of reviews, we knew the beans wouldn’t turn out. But this is a review, not a how to, so we put ninja to the test and see if their product, not our product, will do what it says. And if it fits under your cabinets, good for you. It doesn’t fit under mine. Our reviews are always neutral, unbiased and fair. We are not affiliated to any product company, and do our videos the way we want. Marc

OMG - you guys literally don’t know how to operate air fryer properly …couldn’t even believe how amateur you are…you even didn’t follow Ninja cook book instructions and you complain about results ? Like “chicken texture is not so good and doesn’t taste good” but at the same time you mentioned YOU FORGOT the flip it in halfway (mentioned in instructions btw) 😂 same with french fries - you suppose to shake it regularly at least 3times - if the fries were not cooked in the middle, it’s because lack of shakes not a fryer fault…same with nuggets- you literally overloaded capacity of tray and then you complained about impossibility to shake it? Also setting 35minutes for beans- you literally no clue how to cook…Clowns🤡
