I bought the 7.6L Ninja a couple of weeks back and is perfect just for one person. I like the fact you don't have to wait to preheat it. Haven't used my gas oven since I got it and feel like I have cut down on my gas bill. More economical and quicker. Just love it 😊

I’ve had the AF300 model for a while, the smaller 7,6l version. I use it daily, almost. It is the UK iteration of what she’s using and the cooking modes are accessed by buttons, not a dial. Let’s be honest about this, it is not an air fryer. It is a small, compact, powerful and highly efficient fan oven. There is nothing it can do, that your conventional fan assisted oven can’t do. But, because it is small, with powerful top mounted fans, it cooks more quickly and efficiently than a full sized oven, thereby saving energy. The mode selection buttons are superfluous. They merely select a preprogrammed temperature and timer setting. Obviously, you can adjust these to personal preference. A temperature and timer control would suffice and simplify the user interface. The dual zones, sync and match facilities are intuitive and useful and, I think, the chief selling point of this device. I have an open plan living area. This unit is loud, or at least louder than a conventional fan assisted oven, but with twin powerful fans in a single skinned unit, you would expect that. If we are using to cook a meal whilst watching tv, we do need to turn the volume up. Now that I’ve had it a while, my only regret is that I didn’t buy it’s bigger sibling, the AF400 which has a 9.5l capacity. It’s definitely a useful additional appliance to have available to you in your kitchen, but has some very strong competitors in this lively market.

hit the nail on the head. we bought the AF400 one for our mother, so she can cook easily. but it turned out to be underwhelming to be honest maybe I had too high of an expectation to begin with, but thats how I feel. by the way ours is quite quiet ! its not loud at all, maybe its becasue our kitchen is very big, maybe in a more closed space it shows how loud it is.

That's what Air Fryers are, small convection ovens meaning they cook faster than a typical large oven found in a kitchen.

If you stop using the cooking spray and use avocado oil instead, you won't have that residual film. Cooking sprays cause that build up. Further, you can make a paste of baking soda and water, apply by rubbing gently in small.circular motions, followed by rinsing with water and then use paper towel and to blot dry. That will get rid of that sticky film residue. Last, try switching to Dawn Powerwash or a product like it. It is a foam dishwashing soap. It is gentile and simple to use. Simply spray on, let it sit for 5 minutes or so, wipe gently and then rinse. If you have used the avocado oil, you will not have that residue. Enjoy!

They will. I had to go through the same with a non-stick surface on a breakfast sandwich maker. That manufacturer actually recommended using cooking spray. No matter how I washed the surface it just seemed to be ruined. Since I engage in research I discovered others had the same issue. Clearly, we're not alone. Once the culprit was identified, a few solutions were suggested. The water and baking soda made into a paste followed by rinse and blot dry seemed to work the best. One note though, baking soda can be someone abrasive. Check the consistency, test it between your fingertips and on a small area first. If too gritty, dilute more with water. The recipe with instructions is available online. Good luck and enjoy your air fryer.

To get the grease out EASIER- and bits left over--- fill it with warm water and a few drops of DAWN dish soap---and let it sit for an hour or two-- and it will wipe right out with a paper towel.... if something reists the DAWN-- then ad a few drops of vinegar to the hot water!!!

With that sticky residue, is probably because you’ve been using a oil spray? One of the ingredients in these spays can sometimes cause this. If I need to use oil I will put a small amount in a dish and then coat the food before cooking in the air fryer.

The larger AF400 Uk is rarer than rocking horse poop but I think they are getting more readily available. Ended up with the smaller AF300 about 3 weeks ago and the traditional oven hasn’t been used once in that time. I just picked one of these up at Costco to help cook food for my large family. From Air fryers I've seen in the past only a single layer of food will cook properly (maybe older versions) So i'm curious if you can fill the basket up and it fry everything? The pictures on the box show that it's maxed out with food. Which gives me the impression that I could. Have you tried that yet? Thanks for a great video!
@sohbia4351
@sohbia4351 9 ай бұрын
Hiya. Good question… but the answer is if you max the basket out with food like in the pictures, the food wont cook evenly and will steam more than Airfry. Truth is I only usually cook in single layers unless it’s something like fries as you can give them a good shake! However you can buy things to help cook more than a single layer 👍

We're a late adopter for air frying kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . Didn't want to replace the microwave and wanted a small model (enough to cook for two), so waited for a reliable brand to go on sale. Haven't looked back. Mainly used for reheating - today's lunch was 3 chicken wings (drumsticks & planks), half an Italian sub, and a half bag of cheese curds - all reheated perfectly. This is best for reheating items that have been fried (e.g. french fries) or baked (e.g. pizza) - dairy-based (e.g. mashed potatoes) or liquids (e.g. soup) not so much. Easy to operate, reliable, and just need to adjust eating expectations (i.e. 15 mins in the air fryer vs 2-3 mins in a microwave). Well worth the wait

You say you are saving 35-40% on your energy compared to before, but you don't say what you used before. 2 separate air fryers?

Hi Martin. Sorry for the confusion, I was comparing between my traditional oven and the air fryer.

Hello Sohbia , I just bought my first air fryer, it’s a Ninja foodie twin baskets 6 in 1 8qu. And I would like to know if I should for the first time turn it on empty, for how long and at what temperature? I want to start the right way with it. Thank you 🙏 for your help. I love your videos you are a great help to me. 💕💕💕

Hi Raymond. Thanks so much for your lovely comment Im glad my videos are helpful. I would run for 10 mins on 200 degrees just so that the smell can kind of disappear (new appliance smell). After that you should be good to go. I hope you enjoy your new air fryer 😃👍

Hi Joe. Thanks so much. Recently I have been using fairy liquid, warm water and a scrub daddy and it has been doing a very good job at cleaning it! I finally found a way to clean it properly, it was driving me mad. Haha

Hi Olivia. No I haven’t only because it isn’t advised to cook anything watery in there and I do not want to ruin the air fryer.

Hello Olivia - I have loved using my Ninja duel zone air fryer, I have only used my oven twice in the last three months, however I have used my slow cooker to cook curries, chilli and casseroles, which is also a very economical way of cooking.
