This is my second one. We have it outside the garage door exposed to the elements yearound kzbin.infoUgkxreK_FUQ74_bylFqCr3y2MHqL3u78-b3r Direct sunlight deteriorated the plastic on the thermostat and severe winds blew the lid off. We found it about an acre away. I bought a new one and I saved the good parts from the old one as spares. Got about 8 years out of the first one.

I have the Ninja Foodi and love it. When the Foodi grill first came out, I purchased it. I used it a couple of times and didn't see the advantage of air frying using the grill versus the Foodi. I didn't like cleaning the heavy grill either, so I returned it. I don't miss it at all. I have a digital thermometer to manually check food temp, but I like using wireless probes to cook meat and chicken, which works great. (I also have wired probes but don't like messing with the wires.) I bluetooth/pair the probes with my phone and use my phone to enter the cooking settings. This is great when I am away from the Foodi, as I can monitor the cooking temp on my phone. I have the Meater probes, which are available on Amazon. I am new to your cooking channel and love watching it. Your reviews are honest and your cooking tips are very beneficial. Thank you so much.

I have COPD and could not use the BBQ anymore because of the smoke, this unit came to my rescue. It is great when you live in a condo up here in Canada and you can use it year round. I leave mine on the counter and simply slide it under the stove fan just in case, certain food do create a little smoke. Great idea with the wood chips and the liquid smoke, thank you and congrats on another great review. I have tried quite a few thing but can't wait to try a whole spatchcock chicken.

TwoSleevers - THANKS for demonstrating the smaller grill with the Probe, there’s not many videos for this version. A lot of reviews say that the smaller grill heats better than the XL version with the probe. BTW, people eat with their eyes so that’s probably why we want to achieve grill marks on our food! 😊

I just bought one of those and have used it twice to grill steak. I only eat meats, so this is why I bought this unit as the temperature goes higher than the Cosori Air fryer I was using for steaks. Well... it was instant regret because of the way it smokes up the whole kitchen with strong smell and makes the air hard to breathe... I had the fan over my cook stove on high while grilling but it did not help. Now I am not sure I will use it. I don't have an air fryer now because the Cosori air fryers I had have been recalled and it is taking forever for replacements to arrive. I will probably have to buy another air fryer before I get the Cosori replacements.

In all the reviews I have read and watched, nobody seems to comment about how well the non-stick grill is. Could you please tell me if it works really well? Did you have to hard-scrape food particles off the non-stick grill after cooking? Does the non-stick coating peel off easily? Would appreciate some feedback.

I wish someone had told me on the ninja foodie XL that you can’t choose things unless you have the darn thermometer plugged in. I have one for my oven my wall up and I never use it so I didn’t figure I needed it for this all the time but you can’t choose what kind of meat you wanna do without the thermometer plugged in you have to use it you just have to plug it in

I wonder how well it grills steak. Also, can you put a whole chicken inside?
@Twosleevers4 жыл бұрын
It does a great job with steak. People in my Facebook group have posted those. You couldn’t fit a whole chicken in one piece. But if you cut it in half I suspect a 3 lb one could fit.

Thanks for posting really enjoy your reviews! So helpful!! I too would get lost. Trying to decide if I want the foodi grill or the cosori or Philips. I had my mind set on an the air fryers until husband found xl version so of this. I’m not sure about the all in one I do like dehydrate feature. Still confused. Did you a have video on a philips.

Yes I posted one on the Philips air fryer but not a Philips grill if that’s what you mean? I don’t even know that they make one. I should check!
@GabbyT844 жыл бұрын
I don’t know either. I was looking at the Phillips air fryer I haven’t seen your post on it. I guess I am in trying to decide if the combo is it worth it or if I should just get the air fryer...?
@joannaa.51014 жыл бұрын
@@GabbyT84 I owned the phillips air fryer but found it too confining to use just to air fry. I would get this item for the grill and other functions. I do own a Breville oven too for same functions but it doesn't grill. I like both.

What’s the MODEL # of this grill in Costco? The Costco version has the doneness level displayed at the top of the screen. Example: Rare, Med Rare, Med Well, etc. The version she has looks just like the Model# AG400 that’s shown on the Ninja & Amazon sites. It doesn’t give her the option to choose Medium Rare, Well Done, etc.

What brand are those pot holder mitts that you use at the end of your video. I’m looking for something reliable and flexible. Most of what I’m seeming are very rigid. I also have fairly small hands and most mitts are way too big for me. The ones you use seem to fit my criteria for flexible and small. Thanks

I really like your videos, thank you...you explain every detail which is important at the time to buy an appliance and I always look out to see if you have a video done before buying something. Now, having said that, this video has me worried because it's as if you put the video at high speed and it seems that you are lacking enough air to breathe and you are in a hurry as not having enough time to do the video and need to tell everything in 1 minute. It kind of makes me nervous...but It would be selfish of me to think how I feel about the video without focusing in you and your health. This video is from last year, so I do hope that you are feeling way better today...I also haven't seen any videos done recently which makes me wonder why...I do hope you are ok...thank you again!

It deserves more praise than you gave it, at over 500 degrees it is the hottest indoor grill and air fryer on the market yet has enough temp range to slow cook. It's sears better and cooks faster than anything else in its class. I'm completely shocked that you missed these attributes or felt them unimportant. This is why so many manufacturers put performance at the bottom of their list thinking people would rather have what is trendy than what actually works. Sadly it seems they are right.
@Twosleevers4 жыл бұрын
