I loved this part of the game, it really showed off how powerful Ryu actually is. The cutscene leading up to the fight was mental. He finds himself standing infront of a monster the size of a skyscraper, and it doesn't even phase him. He's completely confident that he IS going to kill it.

9 years too late to reply, but I completely agree. Same goes with Alma, making a big entrance trough the glass and all. All Ryu does is like blankly stare like it's just another day walking in the park. Easy talking for him though, we have to actually defeat all of them... XD

The part that is left open to interpretation is whether or not Vigoor simply gave the Dark Dragon his power, or offered it power as a ruse so that he could possess it in some capacity. It was after all the weakest of the dragons, so it was easily exploited.

It's kinda left open to interpretation. The Vigoor Emperor was indeed the diety Vigoor's earthly representative. But *after* breaking the seal on the Dark Dragon Blade, it's hard to say who he is. After being banished Vigoor gave all of his power to the Dark Dragon, which is what is trapped inside the blade. And the Vigoor Emperor absorbed that power. So the thing you fight at the end of the game is for all intents and purposes equally as powerful as Vigoor, if not Vigoor himself.

@l3awl3ag Not to mention Vigoor turned what MUST have been anywhere from 1/2 a mile to 2 miles worth of flowers into what was AT LEAST a 2 mile-deep hellish pit JUST BY STANDING UP, IF NOT JUST BY THINKOUT and Ryu STILL cut him down like swiss cheese! Man can't wait to get my PS3 and buy Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I'm not sure if i should buy Sigma 2 cause when i completed Ninja Gaiden 2 on master ninja mode, i screamed and cursed a lot. I don't want to go back there again plus on the fact that there were so many glitches and problems. It was like a game that was finished yet or wasn't tested by one of the players. I kinda got bored with it. I wonder these questions 1. Where's Ryu's last voice from NG xbox 2. Storyline sucks,why? 3. To many problem

Going from Sigma to Black is awkward, but you should still give Black a playthrough if you can. More annoying puzzles, but overall it's a more polished game, and excluding the fiend challenges and mission mode, is more challenging.

A great game on it's own? sure, I'll admit to that. anyone who dislikes Metroid gameplay and felt Ninja Guidens gameplay wasn't bogged down enough would love it. Horrible story? I had hoped not. 10 minutes in I quit the game and threw the disk in the blender. So I have no Idea about the story. The voice acting of Samus isn't the only thing, but for me it pretty much built the coffin and nailed it shut.

@TRUESONIC1ROCKS Yeah, the story was pretty bad at parts. As a long-time fan of Metroid, I was quite nervous about the playstyle at first, despite what I'd heard about it. Then, when i played it, being a long time NG and SEMI-DOA fan as well (NOT for those certain reasons; it's actually a pretty technical fighting game that can be coo if played right) I learned to and GLADLY appreciated the gameplay. You're right about parts of the story, though, lol. It DID have its moment or two, however.

@TRUESONIC1ROCKS What was wrong with Team Ninja's involvement in Other M?They gave us a game that had AWESOME(not perfect, but AWESOME)gameplay, considerable Wii graphics, and a not-to-convoluted control scheme.The only issue I had with controls was lack of a nunchuk so you could switch views with C and move in 1st person.It was linear,but that wasn't too big.NINTENDO is the one who watered the game down with their short, REALLY lazy story. It was okay, but could've been MUUUUCH better.

@Man1cmanMario I'm guessing you don't like Metroid games. Almost anyone who likes Metroid games (and many others, apparently unincluding you,) recognized Other M as a complete failure. Like the titanic. If Nintendo had dropped Other Ms involvement to Metroid (Gameplay and otherwise) it might have been good. If teem ninja weren't involved, it might have been good. The failure that is Other M is the clash of two things that look like they might go together, but don't, and a Voice acting Samus.
