Regard Ninjeto. Original Shinobi were Chinese warrior monks, who live as hermits in Japanese mountains. Giving for example origin of Tengu. Those sword masters commonly train early Samurai, after they switch from using a bow. Due to introduction of firearms. Over time they blended with the late type of Shinobi. Who work primarily as spy and generally could not afford the sword. Ninjeto is something introduced by modern descendants of those monks, as something what theoretically could be done by local smith. Even if it was extremely rare if ever happen.

Greetings from Nagoya! A popular disguise shinobi used was a shakuhachi player, because they wear a basket over their head, a great excuse to not let your face be seen. City guards were taught to recognize a few songs to ask shakuhachi players to play when they entered town to prove they were actual musicians and not spies. Anyone visiting Japan wanting to see the ninja villages, Koga doesn't really have anything to see, but Iga's ninja village and museum are quite fun and there are other famous places nearby worth seeing, like the Akame waterfalls where the Iga ninja trained, Ise jingu, Japan's holiest shrine, Suzuka racing circuit, Nagashima Spaland which is home to the longest roller coaster in the world. The map made it look like Koga is in Mie preference as well, but it's on the opposite side of the mountains in Shiga prefecture.

More likely Naoe is a Tokugawa aligned ninja that despised Nobunaga but nonetheless finds a common ally in Yasuke escaping Akechi Mitsuhide's treachery. Yasuke seeks to repay Nobunaga for his advancement by avenging him, only to uncover a much deeper conspiracy surrounding all 3 of the unifiers. There are so many conspiracy theories surrounding Akechi Mitsuhide's betrayal that can be played around with here from the death of Mitsuhide's mother, whether Nobunaga's primary wife Nohime (aka Kicho) was really an assassin (and whether loyal or not did she actually survive Nobunaga's death?), and what was the real relationship between Toyotomi Hideyoshi (Hashiba Hideyoshi at the time) and Mitsuhide. Plus the Akechi family remain insanely popular in Japanese fiction.

@@Naraku-no-Hana-WE that does sound more like something westerners would do to spin the story. Japan reveres nobunaga. Tokugawa has always been considered a loyal retainer of nobunaga so what you said doesnt make sense realistically and “historically” with respect to japanese views. I mean im still sitting here waiting for them to redo AC1 historically accurate, where the order were destroyed/dispersed/disbanded by mongol invasion under ghengis khan and not some “templar order.” Historically, the mongols destroyed the order along with the kwarazsimian empire for disrespecting his envoy.

I great video! As for AC, I just hope you can play the entire story with Naoe, as the fighting in AC as become poor with the new version. Even if it was too easy, at least visually the fighting in AC up to Syndicate was « realistic ». Enemies would block your attack until they run out of health and then get really hit. Now your weapon goes through them like butter yet they take 50 hits to die. At least the sneak, grappling and even the weapon Naoe use are nice and look cool so far. My main hope is that we get to see Hideyoshi and Tokugawa, that we help during Tokugawa escape after Oda’s death. I want to feel like I’m a shadow part of history like all other AC game. I want big historical moments as an unknown actor. I actually don’t mind Yasuke, not enough is known about him to really change anything but I prefer when they use created character as the protagonist like all other games before. Everyone is pissing their pants about Yasuke… I don’t mind but I think it was the time for Ubisoft to finally have just a female lead character for once since they also have been reticent to do this for years (cause gamer don’t like to play as female apparently… well Ubisoft, seems like people have way more problem playing a black man in Japan now… or maybe so are piss cause they don’t want to play a girl but to play a guy they have to play a black guy?? One thing, a merchant would not be considered a trusted commoner above a peasant and trusted like a monk. Merchants sit below the peasant farmer in the social hierarchy of feudal Japan. A peasant farmer was more highly regarded because they worked the lands and provided the food that fed the nation, or more to say their daimyo. On the other hand, despite their social standing, a well to do merchant might have greater access to samurai and daimyo than a simple peasant farmer depending on what exactly the merchant sells and if they directly to samurai and daimyo.

For me, them ninjas will always be the 1st modern spy agency in the world. Imagine their mythical jutsu that can be seen applicable/explainable actions on modern day spy agencies: Espionage Sabotage Subterfuge And of course plausible deniability They would never record nor claim any of this unethical practices.

"There's no physical historical evidence" Of course there wouldn't be...they're ninjas! They're not Navy SEALs who would brag about it in books and TV!

I'll believe all Ninja were Warlock graduates of the John Wick School of Badassery, before I'll believe Yasuke was ever a Samurai, or that Ubisoft won't find a way to kill their own game.

What about the Ninja Rule of Inverse Strength of Numbers? 1 ninja alone is the most dangerous force in the universe, but a 100 ninjas together can be easily defeated by Great Western Dragon of Blond Hair and White Sneakers.

Calling yasuke a legendary samurai is crazy. 1:32
@MonsieurWeevil4 ай бұрын
In an unpublished but extant document from about this time, Ōta states that Nobunaga made Yasuke a vassal, giving him a house, servants, a sword, and a stipend. During this period, the definition of samurai was ambiguous, but historians think that this would contemporaneously have been seen as the bestowing of warrior or “samurai” rank. This is where the claim that Yasuke was a samurai originates. -Britannica
