@Saeraen
@Saeraen 9 жыл бұрын
BelatedGamer It's hard to answer that, people will dislike a video for many reasons. But whatever the reason, it is their own, and trying to understand why people do what they do will usually end in a headache. lol

Saeraen You're missing the point, also why would you watch this video if you didn't like it? Are you the ONE who disliked it? Why would you click on a video knowing exactly what its going to be if you dont like it? Is a speed run of Ninja gaiden. You know what to expect.

The key to the game is to kill the enemies as quick as possible just as they appear, keep moving, time the jumps right and never go backwards. There's a reason all enemies (almost) die after only one hit, you can just tear through them. If you do this, most of the game is managable. Then there are some places where you need to figure out exactly how to get past, but once you do, it's not hard.

From what I understand your character will briefly stop if you slash while on the ground. However if you jump and slash you won't stop and you can keep your forward momentum.

I didn't know you could spin slash kill the bosses with only one hit. I knew there's something weird when you use subweapons on bosses, like when the "decoy" jump monster dies after one hit with the big shuriken. Sometimes when you do that, there's a glitch and the fricking jump monsters double up and you're fighting three of them at once. Anyone else experience that?

The problem with AVGN was that he didn't have any weapons (you lose them when you die) nor did he know that sword cooldown technique. Without the SpinSlash it becomes really hard as there are too many enemies around. As a casual gamer I remember the difficulty of that part.

AVGN says alot of things about video games that in reality are not really that frustrating, I think for entertainment value. For example when he and Mike played Super Ghouls and Ghosts, it was hard, but not to the point where you could never get Gold Armor, I mean how do u make it so far and not get Gold Armor at least once? Or like when he reviewed Terminator 1 for SNES, which isn't too bad, I mean it's hard if u go straight forward like he did, but u need the items they have hidden in order for you to get past the levels. And he was really close actually to passing the first level lol. And Splatter house, for him to not be able to beat the Chainsaw guy is really disapointing, it's 7 shots and a Slide - Kick, Idk why he made it so difficult haha.

Lol he'll talk about what he struggled with as a kid and play it as an adult. Besides these are games he reviewed with Mike, so they're technically not even AVGN game reviews. However remember in TMNT NES review where he's shocked from walking over a space to close together, in the first half of the episode he walks over similar spaces, he had made a mistake and showed that he clearly knew that existed haha. Anyways, it's ok, if he knew all the tricks then it would be boring and he couldn't be angry. I think that he reviews them like his point of view as a player for the first time. Like reviewing a game you've played for the first time and give ur automatic complaints.
