I think we need more weapons in games like that. We got some nod of in Rise or the Ronin, in the form of a "epic" Wooden Sword (no effects, but actually has high damage for it's level) and Wooden Greatsword (has effects the bump Attack up, with one has bumping Damage received up with).

So context if anyone cares lol, I had just played DMC series 1-5 for the first time about 4-5 months ago and I loved it. 4 days ago I just bought NG2:Black on PS5 and it’s my intro to this series. I went into it knowing that people said it was a hard game and the series as a whole will be but I didn’t go in thinking it would play like DMC and treated it as its own thing . I THOUGHT I was a “gamer” in the sense where I can play hard difficulty etc and omg was that a wake up call. I’m getting F’D UP😭😭 I still love it tho but gd bruh I’m fighting for my life 😭

Ngl, Kitetsu was the best weapon in the whole Ninja Gaiden series imo Dual sword attacks with the cool single sword walking animation A ranged double hitting boomerang throw attack And best of all, an attack that can actually heal you for when you’re low on health (something more frequent for me than I’d like to admit)

While ill still prefer Devil May Cry over the Ninja Gaiden series, id be lying if i said that i didnt enjoy myself while playing this game. The challenge was something else, but oh so satisfying when it came to beating the enemies. Bossess where dissappointing if not outright bad in terms of design, and the story is... a nothing burger if there ever was. But gameplay wise, it was a ton of fun.

I stick with the Xbox 360 version cuz of the weapons and everything you can use them not just the black ninja spider clan but different enemies from other enemies in different worlds and if an enemy is in armor it will not work against ryu’s weapons and ninpos will will go through to the enemy and kill them no problems and he can use any type of weapons from their worlds and keep them even his is done plus immunity from death including his friends and his clan so if he needs some help dealing with situations and more.
