Could you share the details of the ceramic bearing and where to buy from?

A quick tip. If you're in a situation where you have two wrenches working against each other, then it is almost always better to let one of them sit against a immovable object (in this case, the ground). Then you can use both hands (and twice the muscle) to loosen. Or even, in this case, just stand on the other wrench, and put a full 1 ft/Knny of force on the fastener. This was fun to watch, cheers 🍻!

I Need to let you know about a mistake you made with new bearing install . Outer race is the only part that should be pressed on or hit on- Not the whole face of it like you did. That can knock flat spots into bearing rollers, and or balls. I have 35+yr experience as mechanic

Hey there! Thank you for pointing that out! I was always taught that if you couldn't punch from the outer race then across the surface was acceptable. Maybe another option would have been to use the old bearing on too punch in the new one. This is a technique I've used as well. Off cam, to ensure it fully seated, I did use my block of wood to tap the edges and not dead blow directly into the center while it was it was bottomed out. Having the right tool for the right job always helps! I wish I had realized that my bearing driver kit didnt have the right size before I started. In any case, I feel confident that the install went well and nothing was damaged. Chances are, I'll upgrade to carbon fiber wheels in the next year and will have to replace them again anyway. Good eye! And thanks for watching 🤙

@@Ksix1 I am not criticizing you just trying to help you learn and improve your skills. If you were to install a brg on a shaft then you would only press on inner race. You should have used a socket or pipe that contacted outer race only

@@patricklester3557 no worries! I did not take it as an insult. I'm by no means a pro and some constructive criticism goes a long way to making sure things go smoothly. Not just for me, but for others too. 🤙🤙

Hey just so you know make sure you're not using a harbor freight torque wrench, you'll end up with more then just a stripped bolt man. That's your life when riding broski.

Oh god no. I have 3 craftsman torque wrenches. They are brand new. I dont fuck around with shit not being torqued .
