I believe the OBD2 port is under the drivers seat on the gear shift side of the bike beside the negative battery terminal. It is square in shape (a 6 pin I believe). You will need an adaptor to interface with the standards OBD2 plug type.

Tbh with you, coming from someone who has a nitrous bike, a CEL is not that uncommon. ESPECIALLY on highly tuned/flashed/modified bikes. Not usually a big issue unless it throws you into limp mode. Now, if it was running the factory tune and everything was factory, of course youd be onto something.

I've rode stock wheel based bikes for years until I got my R1 I stretched her like 6-8" and lowered her about 1 1/2 in the front and 2 1/2 in the rear. It's definitely a different feeling when your used to stock but I really love it the stretched look and I love the way it rides now.

@chaz951 Жыл бұрын
@@notworthit1096I got my bike from original owner. It was already like that. I'm street/ track guy took a little time get used to. Then I took it to the canyons w my friend who owns a S1KRR, it did fine. (Chaz and Marc#1 on the Tube) If you like your bike don't change it! Mine is more setup for drag/ roll race. @@kemmy5444 I’d start on a 300cc twin or single cylinder and take a course, you can start on any bike even a 1000cc but 600cc will easily go 160mph and learning body positioning and speed control is very hard starting on a big bike, also a motorcycle course has many bikes to try out usually good luck dawg

Sounds what like Chris did with rain mode is like a "boost by gear" that lots of the twin turbo Lambos from Underground Racing use. Essentially limiting boost in each gear to whatever the tires can handle without spinning for days. They use this to manage cars that make 1500+ hp. Even tho they are all wheel drive.... interesting use of rain mode tho.....
@tjpfz6 Жыл бұрын
im no expert tuner or nothing but i was kinda thinking more along the lines of "Throttle percentage" I've watched a lot of chris's videos, id say its more like 50% throttle 1st gear, 75% 2nd and 100% 3rd. Just an example though. This is also a super charger not a turbo so simply tuneing it out doesnt really work. TT lambo's? 100% can see that lol!! ty
@Outlawv21992 Жыл бұрын
@@tjpfz6 yeah they do it on lambos By just limiting boost in every gear. Cuz the driver just wants to floor it and not think about it. But the throttle percentage would work too.
@KingJerbear Жыл бұрын
Hey I know this is an old comment, but Chris indeed did it by altering the throttle percentage. He basically kept cruising the bike and dialing back the % just a tiny bit at a time until it stopped lifting up on WOT. The H2's are also extremely limited in the high end in stock trim, at RPM's the map was showing as low as 30% throttle with the stock tune. He's got a few videos on his channel if you want to check them out
