That was AWESOME!!! You have a tiny bit left in the 60 ft...but 1.5/1.6 is REALLY quick!! Granted my fastest pull ever was a 9.97 on a completely streetable ZX9 back in 1998...not tied down, no swingarm...and it felt like it was FLYING out of the hole...I cant imagine what that H2 feels like Brudda!!! You got a LOT better in a very short time and you are REALLY consistent!! Congrats on that Best Time too dude!! Always makes you feel good when you are at the track and hit your best time vice having to go home knowing you did better in the past...
@5up6146 жыл бұрын
hey thank you very much. And yes absolutely I felt good going home with a better pass on the time before I still have more left in the clutch hand for sure but I'm having issues with getting it out and it wheeling every time and I don't want to extend it more because that will adversely affect the traction at it gets also so a proper drag shock is in order and lowering the ride height properly with the correct weight spring in the rear I'm still on a factory rear shock with the preload set all the way up. Obviously there's a ton more leverage there being extended 8 in so I'm going to work on that some more next spring.

@@5up614 Have you played with tire pressure also?? I assume that you have....there is a LOT of "Mad Science" to suspension setup..especially for drag racing...LOLZ...its a LOT of hit and miss for sure!!! (its a LOT more than just strapping down the front as much as you can and punching it) Its bad enough I ended up getting back into sportbikes after watching you guys....now drag racing too!!! NOOO!!!! My wife is gonna kill me! :-D All my old past times coming back!!

Yes sure am I actually have to pick up my GoPro and all my equipment from Ducati Detroit along with my bike. Had to leave it there to get the oil change reminder turned off.
@thomasdixon71526 жыл бұрын
@@5up614 oh yea , you gotta love that . Bren has a hamd held you can turn that off with , right ? Not sure if you remember me , did 19 track days last year on my 959 and own a Final Edition. I recently exchanged my 959 in for a brand new leftover 2015 Panogale R. Question since you have a lot of experience with Brenn. Will that help out with my stock euro 4 on my FE and pick up the R power curve, without sacrificing reliability. I dont want to put the race exhaust on the FE due to noise regulations growing year over year. I do not need more power both are animals, but want to open up the engines potentials .
@5up6146 жыл бұрын
Yes I do remember speaking with you before about the Fe. I know that is the Achilles heel for that bike is the midpipe for euro 4. That being said if there is a exhaust available with quiet course it may not be much louder and a lot of rideability can be gained I hear they are very twitchy in the on-off throttle is not as smooth as previous 1299. but the 11-99 are definitely will pick up some power mid-range and feel very good with a bren tune. call up there and talk to Chris Monday tell him I have been talking to you he will give you very good information and correct answers.
@thomasdixon71526 жыл бұрын
@@5up614 thanks for the feedback. I will for sure give Chris a call. The FE is amazing and I found it adamptive , or I adapted do it. I never put it in race mode on the track so maybe thats where it becomes a quick on off. The 959 was pretty abrupt in race mode, but forced you to ride more aggressive as it demanded your attention. I am sure bothe the 11 and the 12 Rs will demand full attention in race mode on track.
@5up6146 жыл бұрын
Yeah no problem. I even found with my V4 around track keeping it in Road mode and power level only on medium with custom suspension settings in dynamic really allowed me to be smoother did not need all the power

I never spun not even once it's me just slipping the clutch in a couple of times giving it too much throttle or not letting the clutch out soon enough
