I guess a couple of comments, I think once you get some more experience with your Ninja you will find you really don't need to take things out and turn them very often. Or have most things covered when cooking. Also I'm sure it's a British expression but in 40 years my wife has never called me "her Lovely" so it's pretty nice being one of your Lovelies. Who says the English can't cook!

Hi Daniel 👋 Your comment gave me a smile. Thank you for that. I'm nearly 6 months in now with my ninja, and you're definitely right. I think maybe just once halfway through is plenty to turn or shake. No comment on the English thing as I live and learnt to cook in Ireland x

@Natiko2000 I prefer vegetable oil lovely. Plus, it's cheaper. I'm not sure is it the healthiest 🤣 I tried coconut oil, and it seemed to leave a burnt taste. Hi Craig 👋 there's 2 models one with one without but the one without has a dial which I didn't want as from my research is temperamental and fails. I have tested the probe function on a joint of pork and a chicken the pork ended up in the dog as it was so overcooked ( I should of been checking rather than trusting the probe 🤣 But the chicken needed an extra 20min it's definitely trail and error

Hi. Are you inclined to use goose fat on the potatoes? That's my personal preference. I also use a tip from Jamie Oliver to flatten them 1/2 way thru cooking which I really believe helps Crispen them ( It can make a slight mess of them though!). Do you know what the litres capacity is of your air fryer? I want to buy one but I'm very confused as ideally I want one big enough for a full chicken roast for one with honey roast parsnips & pigs in blankets plus of course chicken & potatoes. I'd probably do as normal with peas, mini or chanteney carrots & sprouts & use cooker ring. Part of my confusion is I want a multi function model & one that's energy saving, though I suppose they're all basically meant to be. I wonder if having one big enough for a full roast sacrifices some energy saving? If you've the space & money perhaps you need 2 - one for roasts & one for everyday economy use!?
@LindzandLife

Hi David 👋 My ninja is 9.5l in total, I have a cosori also that has a single draw only 4.7l but I love it and it's handy for 2 people and uses less electricity good everyday airfryer. It's a mind field now with so many units on the market. I will say my ninja uses more electricity using only 1 draw than my cosori. So I think checking the wattage might be an idea. For example my cosori is 1700w and ninja is 2400w aprox. Great tips on the roasts and I haven't used goose fat in years as it's a tad out of the weekly budget. Hope I've helped have a great day x

Mine arrived yesterday morning, planning a couple of chicken breasts and veg for today for lunch. The size is daunting, and it pumps out some power, perhaps it is a bit too big for a single bloke. Loved the way you presented the vid. Subscribed.

Very good video and easy to follow. Just my kind of cooking, basic and simple. You are very easy to watch. My missus tells me off for refering to any females that I interact with as Love. Guess it is a scouse habit. Great tip to steam in the microwave too, instead of my usual in a short boil for 5 minutes

Hi Ronald 👋 At least you know where your sayings come from 🤣 Everyone in my life are lovelys. I used to par boil also, but with the price of energy, the microwave works out cheaper x

Hello Lindz, thank you for your answer. I watched the video, but I thought you would show it. No matter, I decided to buy the Foody Max pro grill, you simply lift the lid. For me, easier and more visible than the “hidden” heating elements. But the decision was also made because of the heated grill plate 😉 have a great New Years Eve 🎊

Hi Nina, you're welcome, lovely. I would have shown it, but to be honest, I don't let mine get bad, so there's not much to show. I think you made a great choice. I bought the ninja speedi as I like the lift up lid, although I haven't used it yet and am still debating with myself if it was the right choice 😅 x

Hi Andy 👋 It is a pain to clean. I give mine a wipe over with a degreaser ( I use a spray called elbow grease) after every use and then around every 2 weeks a deep clean better to tackle it straight away rather than leave it to build up x

Yes thanks for that. We've had ours for around 6 months now. I guess a standard oven cleaner would help. I've see someone using an old toothbrush as well. Bet there's plenty of people who don't bother. Yuk..🤢

Hi Mark, Yes, I have, and unfortunately, I don't rate it at all so far. My advice is a separate temperature probe. I'll be honest I didn't get it for the probe I just didn't like the dial on the one without and heard it can be a pain. Hope that helps 😊
