Technical clarification: At 7:00 - CS:GO caps the game lobby to 120fps. At 7:22 - The gameplay is unlocked to 200-300fps. Using DP 1.2, we experienced 240Hz in game. The monitor can be run at various refresh rates and has DP 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 connectivity. HDMI 1.4 has a bandwidth of 10.2Gbps. DP 1.2 has a bandwidth of 21.60Gbps. To output 240Hz @ 1080p, a bandwidth of 14.93Gbps is required, which means DP 1.2 is required to experience 240Hz. The highest refresh rate HDMI 1.4 can deliver in theory is 160Hz @ 1080p (for a total bandwidth of 9.95Gbps).

there wouldn't be much of a difference between 165hz and 240hz, since once you start hitting extremely high framerates the difference between frames becomes exponentially lower. however 240hz is definitely better than 165hz, even if slightly. if you have a 144 or 165hz already i can see why you'd return it because then it isn't worth the money.

Depends on the machine right? Idk if my rig would get 165hz on 1440 but I know I can get 200+ at 1080 for the fastest possible reactions and it's decently crispy as well at only 24in

If you don't have a stationary pc, it isn't worth buying a good monitor (usually). Consoles only go up 40hzish (I think, don't flame me :D) But if you don't have a stationary pc it is definetely worth it. Though it does cost alot do buy or build a pc that can output 240 hz
