Anytime a big tech channel praises a gaming keyboard I feel immense pain.

@@ploobington598 i understand gaming mice and stuff like that but gaming headphones and keyboards make no sense. why pay more for something just because it is branded as gAmInG when you could prob get something of more quality for cheaper. Some examples could be the Kraken Pro, atm it’s priced at *199 dollars*. You could buy some serious audiphile level headphones with 30 dollars left, leaving money to buy a mic if you really need that. And rgb is just useless on headphones since you can’t see the sides of your ears anyway. You could get a something like a royal kludge keyboard for less than half the price, and if you get something hotswap you can upgrade it down the line. *And it still has rgb if someone really cares about that*. You could also probably build decent a custom keyboard for price of the 200 dollar keyboard shown in this video. But not everyone has the time to build one. (Also on a quick side note, since razer optical switches have stabilizers the switches themselves will rattle. People complain about mod key rattle, imagine having that on every switch.) When you buy something from razer, corsair, logitech, etc you’re paying for the fact they are marketed as gamer, not the quality. This concludes my essay one why gaming shiz is useless that i made for no reason. (my grammar sucks i know)

@@kipup8775 between PBT and ABS, ABS gets dirty and smudgy, also shows wear after just a few months. PBT stays clean and doesnt wear down. (You can always buy PBT keycaps for the Apex Pro, just like I did). The response time in Razer is instant, because they use a laser. Apex has a response time of 0.7ms. However razer has to travel 1mm compared to Apex's 0.4mm-3.6mm (you can alter it within the settings on the board itself, with the little screen, or the steelseries software). Oh and ps. There are 1000ms in a second, so the difference really is minimal.

Shah To be fair, that $40 is probably nearly the same. This keyboard is the essential equivalent of a K55 or Strafe, but it's priced as a K95 Plat. Corsair will always be better for the price.

I definitely like Razer products. I just wish they were priced a little bit cheaper to make it more affordable and accessible to more people. This new keyboard switch seems cool, but is the difference really that big enough to be worth it compared to other Razer keyboards? Mechanical keyboards in general have a good tactile feel to them and they're much quicker to use than standard, membrane style keyboard. So I honestly don't think that this new style will be that big of an update; especially for those that have been using Razer keyboards over the years.

After buying the huntsman mini, the huntsman series is an absolute must buy. The switches have the click of the blue switch, and the smooth feeling of a red switch. Another recommendation from razer is the seiren mini. It takes up almost no desk space, fits on any 5/8 thread boom arm (which is a must buy for the least background noise) and considering I didn’t mention so already, it is a microphone. Don’t forget that this killer high quality microphone is only 50$. Razer is a great company and if your looking for a new keyboard, mic, mouse, or any other gaming hardware, I recommend taking a look at razer.
