My Sodastream works just fine. Maybe they had some problems with the older models.

Very good review. Not something I would use but very interesting anyway. Gotta love all of the Ninja products, very good company. Take care in OK.

Agree, Robert. I was on t he fence about this for a while, but the family loves it! I'm not much of a soda person but I must admit the Thirsti does a MUCH better job than the SodaStream. In addition, everyone can pick their own flavor, per drink, where this is not possible with the Sodastream.

Maybe the new versions of Sodda streams don't work right? But the my old soda stream with the screw in works perfect.

I bought a new model last Christmas for the family. It would put the bubbles in, but as soon as the flavors were added it went flat immediately. SodaStream replaced the unit - same thing with the replacement. The Ninja Thirsti works flawlessly. Peter

As of this writing Costco no longer has it, it's not even on their website when you search it up. I was really hoping to get this for $130 but especially if it's $70. Walmart by me has it for $120, but only 8 cartridges and 1 water tank.
