A comparison between the some of the best air fryers Ninja vs Tower

You should work for Tower because you not only informed me they exist, but persuaded me to buy one right now. I was tied between the Tefal and Ninja and you just gave me what I personally feel is an upgrade to have those trays. Now I can do way more than I initially envisioned with it. I was literally deciding on it tonight and thought I'd google "Tefal vs Ninja Air-fryer"...this came up despite not being perfectly matching the search and yet I've come away with an order at the conclusion of your video. Thanks very much.

Thank you for a very thorough explanation, I’m completely new to the air fry so your instructions are paced well for someone like me. I an occasional memory lapse so I’ll need to return to your site if necessary. Many, many thanks 🎉

I’ve purchased the Tower vision and would love it more if there was a specific Recipe Book for this model with help on cooking times and temp. With basic everyday foods including frozen foods. Your demo is really informative thank you. Any suggestions welcome to help. Lynne

Thanks for the comment, I agree there should be a recipe book, I have reviewed a lot of air fryers, and not one of them come with a recipe book.

went for the tower after watching this. Oven has not been used for nearly two months since getting the Tower. Its great, frozen fish never tasted or cooked so well, and sauté pototatoes. love the autosync as well.

Are the trays easy to clean ? Compared to the ninja?
@oblong30399 ай бұрын
@@gareth2933 not sure I don't have both air fryers. But a tray is a tray and a basket is a basket no matter what make, made of metal. I like Iceland fish from frozen (cheap and good) just put bit of oil on the bottom of fish before putting fish in the basket. Saute potatoes are best I've ever made, but i part boil then half tablespoon of vegan mai and any other herbs and the put in the air fryer basket. perfect. Better of defrosting fish before hand if you can. if not lower temp and bit longer. the default settings are pretty bang on and the autosysnc is excellent.

I’m looking for a stackable. I’ve been looking at the Tower Vision 2 drawer, and the Tower 11lt Rotisserie. There has been reviews about having to alternate shelves and not very good with baking ie, sponges.

Hi, sorry I haven't tried baking in the Tower Air fryer, I have tried it in the Ninja and the Instant vortex, and they come out ok but not as good as a normal oven
@ChinasWorld856 ай бұрын
I have that one. its okay. I find it hard to clean and doesn't heat evenly. Hotter on the top shelf. I have had it ages tho and still works. Has loads of settings however never used the rotisserie
@mowgligurroby949711 ай бұрын
In the Ninja the meats were furthest from the heating element sitting at the bottom of the tray, and in the tower they were closer on the middle shelf. This explains the slightly more well done effect from the Tower one.
@its-review-time11 ай бұрын
Yes that could be true

When you were fiddling around with the Ninja, I saw the temperature going up to 240°C. Does the tower go up to 240°C?

Thank you for the nice comment 👍 The trays were fine to clean at first, but after a few uses they became a bit of a pain, I am now using an Instant Vortex, which is a great Air Fryer.

Great video. How do they compare for cleaning? Does the food in the Ninja cook in its own fat as I see the Tower has a drip tray.
@its-review-time Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the nice comment 👍 The Ninja is much easier to clean, Ninja has a griddle on the base with holes in it, so the fat drips through, I am now using the Instant vortex, which has a large double oven which I have bought a non stick baking tray which is good for baking in its own fat, you may be able to buy a tray small enough for the Ninja

There are air fryer papers and you can use foil. I doubt it would be annoying to simply shove them in the dish bowl lol

Ive just bought the tower one. But the airfryer doesnt turn off when the sync mode is finished. Is this correct? I uavent tried the single functions yet.
@its-review-time2 ай бұрын
Sorry I don't have this air fryer any more, but all the Air fryers I have reviewed always stop when the sync mode has finished unless they have a cool function like the Ninja air fryers, they run an extra minute after the sync mode has ended, just to cool the air fryer down before taking the food out. Sorry i can't remember if the Tower has a cool down feature after the cooking has ended.
@abaivovin27269 ай бұрын
Was originally going to get that tower one and instead got a tower one with drawers like the ninja. It cooks great but I would have liked the versatility of having the multiple layers to cook with, although it is possible to buy a layered rack to go inside the drawers. Always thought Ninja to be a tad overpriced compared to the competition and never could work out what was worth the premium 🤨
@its-review-time9 ай бұрын
Hi having the extra shelves is nice, like you said you can buy free standing racks that fit in the drawers, I bought some from ebay, it cost me about £10, for 2 racks with skewers

@@its-review-time Oh cheers, I just had a look at that and another review of it. It looks a good idea, but I do see some problems, one is that the drawers don't look very deep, unless that is just the way it looks. Another is not being able to shake the contents, would have to use some utensil. The third is washing the thing up, the drawers are pretty big by the looks of it to get into a sink. The other thing is price, not sure if i want to pay nearly £200 out. But does give me a bit more to think about. Thanks.,

@zyborg47 Yes you could be right, I actually find it quite easy to wash, but it is expensive

How is your Tower Air Fryer?
@JaniceHorner-oo4vl Жыл бұрын
@@karlinguk HI Karl, I find the Tower very easy to use. I like the basket and shelf plus the drip tray which can also be used other than a drip tray. I have only been practising for a couple of days, so far I have found it a good choice. I have a Ninja DT200UK oven, and although it is very roomy has good cooking functions the interior is a nightmare to keep clean, and I do not think it is worth what I paid which was £249.00. The Tower on the other hand is worth every penny. The ninja although wiped down after every use looks as if it is at least two years old with very little cleaning (which is not the case). I love the Tower and would buy their products again.
@its-review-time Жыл бұрын
Hi Karl, The Tower is very good and I think it is one of the better air fryers available, the only thing that concerns me is the longevity of the shelves, they take a bit longer to clean than other air fryers like the ninja, if they do start to burn in the future than cleaning will become difficult.
@netguru59811 ай бұрын
It looks like the Towers food contents was cooked slightly more (extra minute) but it wasn't so although you turned on the Ninja first the Tower looks like is has a stronger cooking ability than the Ninja

@its-review-time Жыл бұрын
Conclusion, After using both air fryers extensively, I feel that the Ninja is a better air fryer, but for £100 less, and if I were on a budget I would buy the Tower air fryer. Obviously, that is only my opinion.

Got this tower unit. Only critisism is this is not a fair comparison as tower also do a model the same as the ninja. This model of tower is different due to the shelf design and not basket design but nice vid and review. Im only now trying out the dehydration mode. Hopefully to try and make Jerky and to try and make meals for when backpacking.

The non-stick will break down on the ninja. It did on mines. Ninja didn`t want to know as I didn`t buy it from them. Decent fryer for all that but beware.
@its-review-time2 ай бұрын
It's like any non stick product, the non stick will eventually wear off, I have been using my Ninja for at least 6 months and my non stick is fine, I am very careful how I wash it and only use the soft side of the sponge, you can also increase the lifespan by using baking paper on the base while cooking.

👍
@user-dh1sb2is7v6 ай бұрын
Actually it's a smaller version of convection oven... Which is why it's called an air fryer because it's not a full size oven.. they cook faster than convection.
