Adding Peter Griffin is really cool, but making us move like him in game is not what anyone wanted. the new movement animations are nice, but they definitely need to make it faster/make it look faster. Besides that point, this new chapter is sick.

the new movement and weapon system is definitely a turn off for a LOT of players, every gun has bullet time (to my knowledge) and dropoff. regular jogging is a bit slower and gameplay feels more melodic compared to what it used to be. I love it personally because it requires proper positioning and timing but I'm sure a lot are going to disagree EDIT: Turns out you are just as fast when jogging it just feels different bc of the animation and camera angle edit 503^10: Ignore last edit

As an og player returning from chapter 1. I have to say the movement really isn't an issue, it's just that it doesn't sit right in our minds as it's not the Fortnite we know. It's something different which we need to get used to, on the bright side of things everything in game looks amazing, Fortnite has truly come a long way in its development fr. I reckon the slower movement speed means casual players like myself won't find build fights as bad as we used to since the editing speed remains the same. It wont be so much of a pain anymore as people wont build as big towers as they used to when they were shot lol. Aim seems to be more skill based. The weapons variety is very nice as well as the different element to the game, has a Call of Duty feel to it now, which is pretty cool. W season in my opinion. I think others would agree with me too when I say this tbh.

i cant get used to the new bullet physics, before i used to have like 45% accuracy almost every game, but now that every gun has bullet time and bullet drop i miss every shot. i just learned quick scoping with snipers with the old physics and now i just cant anymore.

It’s really not that complicated. There’s only 10 add-ons, none of which change how you use the weapon. And there’s only 9 weapons anyways. 2 ARs, Shotguns, SMGs, Pistols and 1 Sniper.

For those saying the speed of movement is the same, it’s not. Compare a creative map with the same speed as last season to the movement in the current season and the difference is night and day. The most confusing part of this change is that the animations still look amazing on the old movement speed. I’m not saying I want the exact same as old movement, but maybe just a little bit faster than it is now would be really nice. Hoping for some more tuning.

I may be one of the few people that actually likes the movement, it feels fluid and blends in well with the game. Guns is a big W because it feels like a better version of the crafting system, you can pickup a gun from the ground that has the attachtments you want, and if not, you can just go buy them anywhere and they're very cheap.

If you fairly compare it, you’ll see that the only difference is that your character just takes bigger steps. The only thing they changed is the animations.

How can you not like Season OG? The lootpool is way more interesting and challenging to use, not just those broken ass spam guns you kids want to use to actually be able to kill someone in your PS5 with L2... I admit it, some mechanics they have been adding are cool and all, but with this new update the character looks like a bunch of jelly, looks like its twerking while gliding and its trash, just to not talk about the layouts that are 10 times uglier then the previous ones. I'd pay just to get the CH1 locker and item shop layout, more colorful/interesting and less boring.

Just because something can be changed doesnt mean it shud or that the change will be good .Ur the type of people who will like the game no matter what lol ur not a real player.For all we know the best perfect version was OG .theres no proof that constantly changing a game makes it better.Sometimes yes change can be good but 2 much change is what kills the game they built as it becomes no longer the game people feell in love with.Was lobing OG fortnight.This new chapter is dogshit just like the new MW3 dunno what i will be playing now.back 2 console rust i geuss.

I started at Ch.3 Vibes,and OG map is my most enjoyed in Battle Royal.I'm a casual,so I don't see any difference in movement.I just want the old UI back,and the storm being like back in OG.

I’m really loving the new update. I love the new movement, I love the new guns, I’m really loving everything. I was so hesitant and scared of what would be in the update. But I think Epic did an amazing job changing a lot about Fortnite.

Yeah, after playing with it for a little while It’s fine. If it was still chapter one season one and the only way of moving around the map was running, yeah it would be pretty bad, but we have sprinting, rifts, vehicles, grapple gear, and more. I guess it’s harder to hit clips, but most people don’t do that.
