People who dislike this guy's method of teaching are those who have occlusions of part of their brain. He should be appreciated. and supported We know we have had some professors simply reading their slides during lectures. I still enjoy his presentation after graduation. Thank you bro, keep it up !!

I am not a doctor or Physician, but I find your videos exceptionally educational. My dad has had multiple strokes and multiple occlusions resulting in numerous strokes over the last 20yrs. His Dr's have been astounded by the fact that he only presented minor occular issues until Christmas. Effectively living on borrowed time. Sadly time has ran out as he was rushed into AnE over Christmas with more severe symptoms. Id like to thank you for these videos which are helping me understand the pathology of his symptoms and diagnosis - which would be too technical for my family. While I can't change the facts of his situation, and that there is little possibility of recovery, given the severity of his condition, it does give me some comfort that I can understand where it comes from....thanks again.

My mom has recently had a stroke and the vascular videos of the brain have been tremendously helpful!!!! She has occlusion of the internal carotid artery and the neurologist has said that she is getting blood flow into the affected area from arteries that come up around her face and eyes. Not ideal, but was able to minimilize the damage that she had from the stroke.

I can't even right now!! This is mind blowing to me, as I have Horner's syndrome!. Right sided ptosis, slight heterochromia, and hemianhidrosis in the face and even extends into the distal aspect of my right hand and antebrachial. I'm so excited to understand what happened! My mother contracted the Varisella virus when she was pregnant with me. A specialist in Boston was able to diagnose my condition, and explained that the virus attacked the enervation from my spine to my face. This is all so fascinating to know! I appreciate your teaching style, cadence, and the visuals. I will be following you for sure!

I havnt gone to MEDICAL School. But you are amazing at teaching. I understand all this because I had a subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke with aneurism in the upper left fro tal area of circke if willis. It had something to do with the anteriir communicating artery. I had stenosis on the right side artery. And a birth defect they found..the stenotic artery was a dead end. Possibly birth defect from before birth..i guess its rare and genetic to mothers side of family first born females. I don't understand how it went up from brain stem up right side than had no where to go so it found its way across to a berry aneurism on my left. I had medical assisting experience. I knew I was having a stroke. My signs were immediate tightening in my neck sooo tight like someone squeezing and twisting my neck. It felt like popping sound..immediately sound came in and out of my ears. I ran for the bathroom to look at my face..no signs of stroke. Nothing. Accept my sound and neck. No headache. I turned to call 911..I passed out. Somehow I awoke. 911 never came. I never gave them my address. I awoke called..screamed out I'm having a stroke I'm dying here's my address. I got up..profusely sweating..weak...crawled out my building into parking lot. That way they woukd not be locked out of my bldg. And if I died someone woukd see me on the ground. Ambulance came. Made it in 30 minutes. Immediate surgery. Got coiled. Had vaso spasm. Went into a coma. While in coma had hydrocephalus. They coukd see I had no potassium or magnesium or salt..I drink a gallon day of wTer. I found out I was diabetic. I was in a coma 5 days. They Saud I was a miracle. 2% survive what I had they told me. They were shocked at my symptoms. I was on life support..both lungs collapsed..heart gave out befire I awoke. I walk away with only numbness in upper right hip area. Possibly from the tube going into groin. They had to do drainage upper right head fir blood and fluid. Only long lasting symptoms..numbe fingers toes.. chronic zinginging like electric shocks on upper right to back if head. Happens when stressed. And I have some issues getting thoughts out to words. My thinking slightly delayed. Is frustrating. Memory..borderline normal/dementia stage 1. Short term memory issues. Chronic fatigue. Fatigue easily. But I walk and talk and am thankful. So thankful to my team if Dr's and nurses. Hartford Hospital ICU Was phenomenal. Thanks to you I understand. You are an awsome teacher! Would love to hear more a out what's affected pist stroke with SUB arachnoid Hemorrhage. I might need neck surgery..my spine near the brain stem is fusing from Arthritis. I'm scared to death.
