Sir- my wife and I have been practicing Internal medicine for over 25 years. We are lifelong learners and have recently come across your videos. You are a gifted teacher and we only wish we had someone like you teaching us early in our careers. Your ability to break things down into simple steps, coupled with your passion ( which is quite evident) make the learning a fun process. We thank you for your efforts and for making us better clinicians. We wish you the best.

Your love of teaching anatomy and physiology is a gift to all of us. I have myelofibrosis and essential thrombocycemia that I believe has turned to leukemia because with a bone marrow biopsy I had a BCR ABL 190 which I believe through my reading is indicative of AML leukemia. My physician tells me nothing but I read a lot. My blasts are only 1% and my blood work is okay. I have an oncologist who is horrible in every way, but the one thing he did was send me for a second opinion to Dr Mesa who at the time was with Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale and you will find him on every KZbin video there is on the MPNs. I received the primary myofibrosis diagnosis from him also. I've been on jakifi 25 mg twice a day for 4 years. I started with hydroxyurea And at this moment can't remember the name of the other oral chemo he tried but seemed to put my disease in overdrive so he quit it right away.. I'm not a good patient in that I don't see him every 3 months and I don't have blood work done as I should.. I occasionally miss my jakaifi dose. My 43-year-old son died a year ago this month from a fentanyl overdose and I forget to take my medications.(Or get out of bed or eat meals or brush my teeth or go for a walk or get dressed etc) I stopped watching TV the day my son died but eventually turned on KZbin for music came across your show so you're it and what a great find you were! Truly a treasure of knowledge and enthusiasm to help others. I don't care to know anything about politics or anything else in the I've always been on top of all that but none of that matters to me anymore. I just saw my primary care doctor to get the okay to fly to Alaska from Arizona. My younger son lives in Alaska and has invited me to go there for the 1st anniversary of Dominic's death on the 26th of this month to experience the Aurora Borealis. So I'm spending the worst day of my life seeing the most incredible phenomena life has to offer. He rented a Winnebago for 2 weeks so we're bound to see it. I want to give you a pleasant background to a horrible experience any parent can go through. My son was an incredible person who loved me very much. I just want to thank you because you've taught me something every time I watch your videos. And I share my love for your show with everyone, even people in the grocery store line, enthusiasm is infectious and we don't need to wear a mask to share it.. I was a registered cardiology technician for 24 years going from the dinosaur days of cardiology where echocardiography was strictly a black and white "M-Mode" through the years to color Doppler, but quit when my 43 year old husband of 24 years had an orgasm and died on me, quite literally, he said "I can't breathe" and I couldn't revive him. He had a heart attack when he was 36 and didn't do what he was told and 5 years later nearly to the date, he had the Widowmaker and was gone before I could do anything. My 49-year-old sister died of metastasized melanoma like John McCain just 10 days before my husband died. I couldn't go back to work though I tried. I was blessed to have the time to take care of my parents who have since passed away. I'm not sure why I've told you all this. I went online to find out more about memberships and saw that I could write to you so here we are. I LOVED my job and not many people say that. I loved not only learning something new everyday because in the medical field you never stop learning but the personal fulfillment of helping another person was like being given a gift everyday. I miss it terribly.. okay enough of my life story. I just want to tell you that watching your videos is a huge part of my life. My fatigue level is getting worse, but continuing to learn something in anatomy and physiology is VERY fulfilling. I was so excited as I watched your EKG video because I could answer your questions and know what was coming next, it was wonderful because all the medications I'm on have definitely affected me and brain fog is a part of my life. Your enthusiasm for life is so exciting. I haven't watched the video that shows what goes on in making these videos but plan to do it in the next couple days. My niece is dealing with anemia so in searching for your anemia video I saw the video that explains what goes on behind the show so plan on watching that soon. It looks like you just came up to the whiteboard, started talking and that's it, lol, but I know there's much, much more. I know I've gone on and on and on, but I have a lot of time on my hands. Thank you for sharing something you love, that's what life is all about, what the world needs most is love but a lot of people haven't caught on. I'm not sure I can attach a photo but I'm going to try and attach a photo of my son and I. Thanks again, sincerely Beverly..

Amazing video as usual, extremely comprehensive. The only thing is that C. Difficile is not a cause of extrinsic haemolytic anaemia, it is C. Perfringens where we see this happen after the bacteria gains access to the bloodstream and we see that total destruction of RBCs intravascularly and subsequent erythrocyte ghost formation.
