you are a great teacher. it does not even bother me, as it usually does, that it's a video and i cannot ask any questions..because I don't have to because you explain everything very thoroughly. it helps a lot that you repeat everything 2-3 times in a row. thank you!

Awesome video! I have one Gripe. Zero chance of herniation effecting the sciatic nerve below L5 S1 IVD/ L5 Nerve. super common cause of sciatica is it being compressed by a hypertonic piriformis or in a subset of people where it actually runs through the belly of piriformis. Women during pregnancy is a super common time for women to get sciatica also.

Should the hamstrings be innervated by Sciatic nerve instead of Tibial nerve? Thanks!
@anushreeshirke7384 жыл бұрын
Hi ninja nerd. Amazing video. Just one question I have, sciatic nerve before reaching the knee joint level gives motor supply to all hamstrings and adductor Magnus and in knee joint it divides to tibial and CPN.
@michaelandrej18734 жыл бұрын
it varies. sometimes it divides further up in regio femoralis posterior (then nervus tibialis gives motor supply to all muscles in that region + also inervates m. adductor magnus) and sometimes its just like you said.

Thanks very much for the video, it's going to save me on my anatomy test, just like your other videos have....I just have one question: if the tibial nerve innervates the posterior compartment shouldn't it be the posterior division of the sciatic nerve? And that way the common fibular nerve the anterior or even lateral division of the sciatic nerve?
