I've always hated how much people underestimate konan. I honestly think she's one of the more op Akatsuki when not faced against say jiraya who knew her weakness. Itachi is primarily a genjutsu guy, and we know these don't work against jinchuriki with control over their beasts like Naruto or Killer Bee. The only other thing Itachi has going for him is his Mangekyo, and we know Naruto is equally powerful to Sasuke with eternal Mangekyo and the Sage of the Six Paths buff.
