Excellent video. Finally someone who takes pride in using the ninjato. I am sick of the samurai sword fanboys saying that the katana is superior to the ninjato.

ehhhhhh ehhh thats NOT a fantasy sword. it might not be historically accurate, but that little cutter is dangerously sharp. if i was a mercenary, i would strap it to my back as a sidearm.

@DannyFatSack lol very carefully, its easier for me to show you than to explain but its more of a twist of wrist but when u spin the tsuka you keep your hand on the bottom of the tsuka and regrasp it with your other hand above the other hand.

u spoke much truth but my video wasn't just about if the sword had the ability to do so ,it was about the practice of using a ninjato in cutting exercises.and lastly because of the hamon on this blade its allows it to pierce through anything it can with precision.i didn't care much for a tv show to prove anything to me ,i wanted the exp. first hand

yes friend it is jet black but let me also explain why im wearing jet black ,this uniform is only jet black because it just my training uniform for class only.nothing more,im very aware of this color.and yes when i can afford it ill remake one in dark blue or navy.nothing is the vid was meant to be takin too serious if u know what i mean.hence the word test.thanks for watching though

@nmangiapani86 the blade has held up quite well but im no sword expert, i will say from using this sword the more ive used it the handle wrap and fitting did start to losin and i've always taken care with using my swords and weapons but this one just to be honest has made me feel like this was the biggiest waste of 189.99 i've ever spent.sure its nice but thats about it.also once apon a swing i chipped the kissaki but its was all in my error.from mistakes we learn *bow*

@EpicEffinTom thanx,well i've had my hanwei for about a year or better now and id honestly have to say that i believe its a waste of money and time.i've just using mine for just small cutting as this and its basically fell apart and ive done nothing but care for it,id find a better "battle ready" sword than this,yes they are hakama and i would make a vid but i think somehow people would find a way to annoy me about my approach to my uniform and kreteck how i do things but to each his own.right?!

@EpicEffinTom im considering a oniyuri or a kaze katana or ko katana for my next piece,i just bought 2 swords from ryansword com nice and sharp but i don't think they would hold up very long in a battle type setting small cuts maybe but not battle ready,same as the hanwei but good for the price.as far as my last comment ill make you a vid for my kyahan alright. ive got a few vids i haven't put out yet cause microcraps movie editer doesn't like my computer sometimes so ya ,soon enough

Many swords (Katanas, Ninjatos) can cut through water bottles... A ninjato has the ability of sinking about 6-9 Inches into your shoulder (Proven on the TV show 'Deadliest Warrior') A water bottle is nothing.
