Matheus Nagata Hi Matheus, I studied in Bujinkan for 9 years, now I'm part of Genbukan, because I wanted to extend my personal knowledge in the other schools of this Federation. However, I am developing a combat system that applies the principles of Ninpo/Ninjutsu in street combat and woman self defense. I strongly believe that tradition should be applied in every aspect of this martial art, physical and mental preparation, training sessions under stress induced against multiple armed and unarmed opponents, without neglecting the most important aspects: prevention and escape. This is pretty much identical to the krav-maga techniques I see at my dojo. It must be sort of hard to apply them however if you have no combat experience.

Fight is fight. There is no Krav Maga or Ninjutsu. They are both fighting arts, so why would they need their own technique? And Ninjutsu is about 1000 years older than Krav Maga. So this guy did not stole the Krav Maga techniques. That is just like Tesla and Marconni: same invention, but every men on his own. This is same thing, but with Martial Arts. Darek K Maybe, probably... But still, most of those keyboard Krav Maga warriors do not think is this real Bujinkan or Gebukan, they just spit on the others. And they don't even know what is Ninjutsu. If this was real Ninjutsu (Ninjutsu have nine different schools, so why not add 10th school) they will still spit on that like the Krav Maga, Bjj, Wrestling, Judo, Muay Thai and Boxing are the only "martial arts" in the world.

a workable art for sure but my personal opinion is it looks very much more like Krav Maga than Ninjutsu. Call it what ever you want and teach what ever you want, I know I do. I've seen both styles demonstrated and I've not seen Ninjutsu done like this but have seen the exact techniques being done under the style of Krav Maga. No matter what you call it I say congratulations on being skilled in its use and being able to teach others.

Il fatto è che il Ninjutsu in realtà è continuamente aggiornato, è un sistema in continua evoluzione, sta all'istruttore mettere in pratica nell'epoca moderna le tecniche tradizionali della disciplina stessa, combattimento incluso. E' giusto praticare a livello tradizionale, ma è sacrosanto applicare tutti quei principi che hanno reso il Ninjutsu il sistema che è attualmente! It's also advantageous to have your system structured to look like a popular system like Krav Maga , because you can then easily train with others in the area you live in with out having access to the specific school which you belong to and maintain your fighting skills and add knowledge and variety to them .

Hi, Krav Maga (krav panim el panim) was born in the first half of the twentieth century, ninjutsu originated in 500 BC reaching its greatest notoriety in 1500 AD Krav Maga is a fighting system that includes boxing, karate and jujitsu techniques for short range combat. Karate and ju-jitsu disciplines are strictly Japanese, ju jitsu is the discipline that comes directly from "Hontai Tagaki Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu"(one of 36 schools of Ninpo and Ninjutsu) based on close combat. The first Westerners to go to Japan to study an effective method of self-defense at 360 ° were not Americans, as is usually believed, but the Israelis. Imi Licthenfield formulated this type of system in 50 years, limiting the technical sector and a few effective techniques, Ninjutsu has its techniques baggage from when it was born, as it is the key discipline underlying the different systems of modern combat, and unlike many other systems and martial arts, is one of the few that faces the dangers of the age in which we live and which is constantly renewed and updated all the time. The empty hand format of traditional ninjutsu is lacking for the modern day warrior. I feel that studying ninjutsu for more of a historical reference is cool but the unarmed combat for self defence needs to evolve to reflect modern day issues meets modern day reaction. I think what this man in this video is doing is great . He can use ninjutsu as his base and maybe use other forms or fighting arts that can help him reflect his take on realistic modern day combat and still practice the weaponry , military like warfare training , spiritual meditation , etc etc and still have the ninjutsu mindset at heart.

Sorry my friends, the concept of "STYLE" (in martial arts) means "APLICATION"; and that what makes different paths through the same base technique. So yes, this is what differentiate karaté from Judo, Judo from Aikido, Aikido from Krav Maga....and YES, KRAV MAGA from NINJUTSU. And...THIS IS NOT NINJUTSU!! ...these guys take 5 years of ninjutsu, and then form their own systems... they dont have a single clue of what these ancient ryuha teach us. You can see this clearly in this guys way of moving. He is sharp and fast, but principles of kihon are no where to be found in his movements... so yes based on ninjutsu, but purely technique wise, not by the way of using the whole body as one... where is the sabaki moguri shirabe tate

"This guy" She studied Iga Ryu Ninjutsu for 13 years with both the Bujinkan Hatsumi that Ninpo Bugei Sanjurokei with Genbukan Tanemura Sensei. And "this guy", unlike many others, has had experience of street aggressions, and unfortunately not only with punches and kicks, which many practitioners do not even have ever experienced in their whole life. I also studied self-defense and close combat systems and I'm fully aware of the difference between the tatami, a ring and a street fight. The way I move respects the timing of a dynamic and changing combat, such as real aggression against an opponent not collaborative and all is based on my experience: no one attacks you in the street using "fudo ken" and when you defend from him, you'll never find yourself in ichimonji no kamae, hira ichimonji, jumonji, kosei or hicho no kamae .. The only position where you may find yourself on the street when you're threatened is shizen no kamae. And you know why? Because the attacks are fast, quick and explosive. And no one warns you if you are going to punch you in the face or head. That's your natural position, the position when you talk with someone. Finally, if you think Shirabe Moguri Kata (12 techniques) of Kukishinden Ryu Daken Taijutsu can really work against 2 opponents that wish to hurt you, or as in my lucky / unlucky case with an opponent with a broken bottle glass walking fast against you, just let me know! We can make a video where you can explain how to defend yourself without getting a blow or a cut. However something is right: you have to use your entire body when you fight, but if you have seen it in the video, I have bad news for you. Because each technique is carried with the entire body. I studied the discipline. I studied and acquired its principles. and after 20 years of global martial practice (Ninpo, Ninjutsu, MMA, Close Combat and self defense systems), now i'am teaching my system, based on direct experience I had both on the tatami, the ring and in the street. It is not a foolproof system, no system is unerring. But I continue to study to do my best and give people a real possibility out there, not a play or the illusion of being warriors when they do not even support a sparring uncooperative which lasts 5 minutes. I think I've proven you to know the Ninjutsu, you do not need to know my Masters. However, one of the Bujinkan was training every year by Hatsumi Sensei, the other continues to train with Tanemura (Genbukan) at every international seminar. Please do not take my words like a criticism, but as my point of view and real experience. I am a teacher, and I have a duty to train people following principles, not technical. And this must be done in a conscious and aware manner, a way only possible when you have touched and experienced ALL spheres of combat. Greetings

First this is not pure ninjutsu it says in the name that this is a combat method based on ninjutsu techniques. If you look closely you can see Kamae being used but everything is modified in a way that looks like Krav Maga mixed with ninjutsu.

Ovviamente come tutti i sistemi di combattimento nati sui campi da battaglia e nelle zone da guerra, ha tutti quei principi di base come la velocità, reattività massima ed esplosività proprie anche del Krav Maga, solo che studia diverse scuole, ognuna specializzata in un particolare ambito, dal corpo a corpo, al combattimento in tutte le sue forme, armato e non, contro singoli individui o avversari multipli. He didn't say it was traditional ninjitsu , but based on it , if you know traditional ninjitsu you'll see clear elements of it in the techniques demonstrated , like the thumb strike and the use of the attacker's stick on a pressure point of his neck .

Ho iniziato a credere che il Ninjutsu fosse una manovra di Marketing. Credevo nell' esistenza del ninja, ma ho iniziato a ipotizzare che questo soldato sì addestrasse in più arti marziali. Ciao Marco, innanzitutto volevo ringraziarti per aver seguito il video e per aver apprezzato, ci fa davvero piacere! In secondo luogo, quello che hai detto non è per nulla errato. In effetti c'è sempre stata, purtroppo, una forte commercializzazione della figura del Ninja e dell'immaginario che ruota attorno alla disciplina stessa del Ninjutsu, ed è estremamente difficile trovare delle fonti veritiere su questa disciplina. Già a partire dagli anni ottanta, praticanti delle più svariate discipline si mettevano un cappuccio nero in testa e "trasmettevano" le loro tecniche Ninja per cavalcare l'onda del marketing, un'onda cavalcata oggi ad esempio da MMA e Krav Maga. E' un peccato, perchè se ci pensi molte tecniche e tattiche di combattimento valide e risolutive (specialmente quelle corpo a corpo a mano nuda) si sono sviluppate nell'arco di moltissimi anni, secoli, ed oggi vengono messe in discussione da discipline che hanno si e no 60 anni o meno di esperienza alle spalle e che vogliono far credere di essere efficaci solo perchè sono di stampo militare, ma non è così. Ho avuto modo di studiare ed allenare il Ninjutsu tradizionale per molti anni, seguendo due delle tre Federazioni giapponesi più grandi, e anche se ogni federazione ha la sua ottica in merito alla pratica, credo che sia missione del praticante capire come e perchè vanno praticate ed eseguite certe tecniche rispetto ad altre e soprattutto come contestualizzarle nell'epoca moderna. Il tradizionale ha molto da dare e non basta conoscere i movimenti a memoria e ripeterli senza cognizione di causa, una prerogativa propria dei sistemi difensivi moderni, ma bisogna conoscere e acquisire i principi che stanno dietro a certe tecniche e svilupparli. Solo così una pratica tradizionale si può tradurre in un sistema di combattimento efficace, altrimenti resta solo teoria. E cavalcare l'onda del marketing non insegna a difendersi, ma a come spennare polli che sono alla ricerca della bacchetta magica che risolva loro ogni problema. Grazie di nuovo per il tuo commento! I can never understand why on these training sessions, they always have the attacker posed in a choking position where their hands are in this perfect grip around the victims neck. I've been almost choked to death and I unfortunately can tell you from experience that an assailant will head lock you from behind, or try to shove their whole side into you then try to press on your neck with their forearm!. This defense technique won't do shit against that.

This is literally Krav Maga. I have been doing Ninpo for 20 years and the most important part is body mechanics and this is just straight krav no Ninpo anywhere.

Hello , first of all I would like to clarify one thing: the techniques presented here are based (as the title says) on principles applied Ninjutsu , reported in self-defense techniques and anti-aggression , are not presented proper purpose of Ninjutsu I studied Ninjutsu and Ninpo for many years, and I can guarantee that they are not the same thing, also the meaning of the two terms is very different.

The Ju jitsu is nothing but one of the oldest and main schools of Ninjutsu and Ninpo and this is its evolution to date: Ontai tagaki Yoshin Ryu Ju Jutsu -> tagaki Yoshin Ryu Ju Taijutsu -> Ju Jutsu -> Jujitsu -> Brasilian Jujitsu I tell you this also as an instructor of Krav Maga so I haven’t no doubt on what I am saying and what I teach, but if you want clarifications I’ll be happy to give it to you 3: Sorry, but I do not understand your third point

Raga io pratico jujitsu metodo clark e karate stile Kempo ed essendo il jujitsu l'arte marziale madre del Giappone ( la prima ) vi posso dire che quello che si dice sul krav maga è vero e cioè che per l'80%è stato preso dal ninjutsu ( arte marziale dei ninja ) e di conseguenza dal jujitsu ( arte marziale dei samurai) e che in parte è un buon modo per difendersi e dall'altro è uno stile che ha toppato alla grande, nel senso che praticamente quello che vorrebbero "insegnarti" è come difendersi in poco tempo, questa è una grandissima cavolata per il semplice fatto che 1 per essere un guerriero devi farti anche almeno un po il fisico da guerriero e questo richiede volontà e pazienza 2 non si chiamano arti marziali a caso (arti-marziali) di conseguenza è un'arte e come in tutti i tipi di arti ( disegno, pittura, musica ecc...) richiede anni per impararlo bene e se il maestro è bravo e se voi vi impegnate e ci mettete il cuore state certi che imparerete a difendervi! poi ovviamente ognuno deve trovare la propria arte marziale in qui si sente più in sintonia ovvio! questo è il mio punto di vista almeno ditemi voi cosa ne pensate!😉👍

+Jonathan Gargano Grazie per il tuo commento Jonathan, come non essere d'accordo Jonathan con quanto hai specificato. Il problema è che oggi il Krav Maga viene commercializzato a livelli davvero vergognosi, molti "maestri" certificati in un fine settimana che promettono di darti la soluzione definitiva contro ogni problema e che minano invece il lavoro umile e paziente di tanti altri che invece insegnano queste discipline con coscienza e consapevolezza. Ad ogni modo non è mai la disciplina che fa l'atleta, ma l'atleta che fa la disciplina. Un buon pugile, un buon praticante di Muay Thay o della Boran, un buon Karateka, Judoka e via dicendo, sicuramente sono perfettamente in grado di sapersi difendere, la cosa che accomuna tutte le discipline è la pazienza.. e ce ne vuole davvero tanta, insieme ad una bella dose di umiltà e coraggio di mettersi continuamente in gioco. +Joseph Arlettaz già vorrei dire solo altre due cosette: 1 che il krav maga come L'MMA può essere uno stile efficace solo se prima hai fatto almeno 7 anni di un'arte marziale ( una vera intendo) perché è difficile essere bravi li alle prime armi. e 2 ( più o meno come hai detto tu poco fa) il tipo di arte marziale non conta , è l'uomo/donna che la pratica che fa la differenza ( e quello che la insegna anche ma mi pare ovvio) ! ps. quello che volevo dire prima con " l'arte marziale adeguata " era per indicare quella con qui uno si trova più a suo agio e che gli piace per davvero, esempio: io ho scelto il jujitsu perché ( almeno il metodo Clark ) è l'arte marziale tra le più complete che ci siano ( calci,pugni,gomitate,ginocchiate,proiezioni,leve,punti di pressione,combattimento a distanza ravvicinata,a distanza maggiore, contro il muro, a terra,contro una o più persone, kumite [ medium contact ], simulazioni dello stato d'ansia ecc..... se ci metti una conoscenza dei punti di pressione arricchita dal Kempo karate è una strafigata 😀) e mi ci trovo a mio agio anche se ho troppa " carne al fuoco " e non è facile però funziona a è dopo aver provato altre arti marziali ( kung fu shaolin, krav maga, mma e muay thai boran) finalmente ho trovato la mia, ormai il jujitsu e il Kempo, fanno parte della mia vita! spero di essere stato chiaro nonostante tutto questo bla bla bla😂! buon allenamento anche a te!👍

condivido... il krav deve essere un "completamento" di qualcosa costruito prima. Io stesso ho praticato diverse arti marziali (taek, kung, jeet) prima di coltivare il krav, che senza altre basi resta un corpo senza testa. PS: mi pare sia finita l'era del noto ente di formazione che faceva diventare istruttori gente senza alcun background marziale in un fine settimana, quantomeno il "corso" non compare piu sul loro sito. Ciao Valerio! Grazie per il tuo commento e le tue informazioni al riguardo. Purtroppo l'era degli "istruttorati a portar via" è solo all'inizio. Anche se l'ente di cui parli ha rimosso qualsiasi informazione relativa a corsi del genere, ti garantisco (con immensa tristezza e sdegno) che ormai non solo nel Krav Maga, ma anche in molte altre discipline marziali esistono enti di formazione che non si curano minimamente del curriculum dei richiedenti la formazione, spillano loro una bella somma di denaro e li "certificano" in uno o due fine settimana. Queste persone sono poi quelle che combinano vere e proprie tragedie nella trasmissione dei bagagli tecnici, incoscienti ed inconsapevoli delle loro immense lacune (proprio perchè, come dici tu, prive di qualsiasi fondamento marziale valido) e che a loro volta "insegnano" le soluzioni migliori per restare uccisi o, quando va meno peggio, feriti. Purtroppo la sindrome del "so tutto io" o "dell'istruttore/maestro di turno" è più sviluppata di quello che si pensa. Le persone hanno il brutto vizio di preferire la strada diretta e facile a quella impegnativa e piena di sacrifici, una è rapida, l'altra richiede anni di pratica per poter essere acquisita, e sottolineo acquisita, non dico padroneggiata. Per padroneggiare qualcosa ci vuole una vita, figurati tu se può bastare un fine settimana. Grazie e buon proseguimento!

Ti capisco a pieno perché sono anche io un tecnico e insegno, ma prima di istruire sono stato prima io istruito studiando per anni e facendo moltissimi sacrifici in termini di tempo, di studio, applicazione e, ovviamente economici. Quello che dicevo ad alcuni "aspiranti" a diventare docenti di una disciplina è "come fai a istruire se non sei prima tu istruito?" la risposta più cretina che mi davano era "va be per ora mi prendo l'attestato poi con calma mi formo". Poveri discenti che ci capitano in mano a questa gente. Questi sono i venditori di fumo che vorrei far capire a chi ti ha commentato in un certo modo (ma secondo me sono solo chiacchieroni senza alcuna o scarsa conoscenza nell ambito). Per come ti muovi tutto sei al di fuori di un venditore di fumo. Continua per la tua strada e lasciali rosicare, tanto di meglio non credo riescano a fare nella vita. Ciao!

2: Krav Maga is not Ninpo , but applies ALL the principles of Ninjutsu , the first Westerners that travel to Japan to study an effective fighting system from the battlefield were not Americans , but Israelis. +Bane Griffis La speranza di fare businness con discipline come questa può essere il sogno di molti autoproclamati "maestri" dei nostri giorni, la mia speranza invece sembra inattuabile: e cioè che persone che fanno commenti del genere, senza conoscere il percorso intrapreso da una persona, il suo curriculum, la sua preparazione o le esperienze che ha vissuto nell'ambito marziale, spariscano dalla faccia della terra. Chiedo tanto!? Mah. Sottolineo diversi punti che mettono in evidenza una mancata cultura e ricerca marziale nell'affermazione che hai fatto: 1) Il video dice "difesa personale" basata sul Ninjutsu. 2) se avessi voluto realmente fare businness e cavalcare l'onda del mercato attuale, avrei scritto Krav Maga, sicuramente più noto del Ninjutsu (anche se il Ninjutsu pratica queste risoluzioni da prima del 1500 a.C.). 3) Ho praticato Krav Maga dopo una pratica di 12 anni di Ninjutsu, e sebbene le risoluzioni siano simili, c'è un abisso tra le due discipline. 4) Probabilmente non sei a conoscenza della differenza che intercorre a livello terminologico, storico e tecnico tra Ninpo, Ninjutsu e Krav Maga. 5) Se oggi esiste il Krav Maga, ti informo che ha acquisito le sue tecniche, e i principi che vi sono contenuti, da tutti i sistemi ad esso precedenti, e ha si e no una sessantina di anni, quando il Ninpo ha origini che affondano nel 500/300 a.C. 6) Ho praticato per anni Ninjutsu Bujinkan, ora pratico Ninpo Genbukan, ed anche su queste due visioni differenti di Ninjutsu c'è un abisso. 7) Quello che hai visto in video, sono esclusivamente tecniche dimostrative in cui sono stati applicati risoluzioni da strada basati su principi tradizionali della disciplina. 8) Il Ninpo è tradizione marziale, il Ninjutsu è applicazione da strada, l''MMA è una disciplina da ring regolamentata da leggi, in cui ci sono pesi, categorie, una piattaforma di incontro ben definita (ring) e un arbitro. Il Krav Maga come lo intendono in Italia molte persone, non è il Krav Panim El Panim che praticano ad Israele. 9) Se proprio devi mettere bocca su qualcosa, invece che giocare a chi ce l'ha più lungo e buttarla su una competizione di nomi (Ninjutsu, Krav Maga, Ninpo, MMA, ecc.) potresti fare qualche commento sull'esecuzione. 10) Se dovessi avere dubbi, incertezze, o titubanze relativi all'esecuzione pratica della tecnica (una delle tante possibili ed attuabili perchè ricordo che la scienza esatta quando si parla di strada NON ESISTE) puoi venirci a trovare al nostro centro sportivo, dove ti sarà presentato il programma tecnico sia tradizionale che quello attinente all'ambito della difesa personale, con pratica a contatto pieno sotto stress indotto ed allenarti con noi. Forse dopo avrai un metro più valido di giudizio, perchè dietro ad un monitor sono tutti leoni, leoni che quasi mai si mettono in gioco, ne tanto meno ci mettono la propria faccia. Ti spiego in breve: la disciplina denominata Ninjutsu originariamente era ed è conosciuta come Ninpo, ma mentre quest'ultima è rimasta fedele alla tradizione giapponese nata nel 500 a.c. e cristallizzatasi con le tecniche proprie del 1500 (epoca Sengoku Jidai), il Ninjutsu si è adattato fino ai tempi moderni ed è un sistema che viene utilizzato da vari corpi speciali, tra cui la S.A.S britannica.
