Nino vs Karlos | A Battle For The Ages | Competition & Backroom '22

A rivalry that stems from their first meeting came once again to a head at the 2022 European Weightlifting Championships between the now 89kg Antonino Pizzolato of Italy and Karlos Nasar of Bulgaria.
Since beating the 17 year old Karlos Nasar at the prior European Weightlifting Championships in 2021, Antonino 'Nino' Pizzolato went on to medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo several months later. Having missed the Olympics Karlos Nasar kept on training, becoming world champion and setting a new clean and jerk world record of 208kg at the 2021 World Championships, a competition to which Nino did not attend.
Months later, now both heavier in the 89kg category, the battle once more came to a head. World records were set, hearts were broken, and the strongest 89kg weightlifter in Europe was crowned!

Okay bro, im gonna give you simple explanation why karlos looks like that when he is 17 years, i hope this comment gets to a lot of people who question whether carlos is 17 or 27.(sorry for my bad english) Carlos is from Bulgaria, part in Europe which is called Balkan.Balkan is extremly poor area in Europe and childer there dont sit at home and play video games their entire childhood,childern here they work on hard physical labors, building houses, working on parcels etc. I am from bosnia, started training at around 15 years, squatted 200kg after year of training and benching 140kg at around 85kg.Now i have 18 years,have 90kg, fully developed facial hair and look like i have 30years. So the reason why Karlos looks like this is mainly because of origins where he is from and probbably "supplements" he uses.But trust me,come in Bosnia and you will see how 90 percent of kids look here.

@@gagisha2437 It's mainly because of the use of PEDs. Apti Aukhadov is a great example. When you look at his face at the 2012 Olympics (not natural) vs. Europeans few years later (off the drugs), you can see he looks so much younger despite aging almost half a decade. This is coming from someone who grew up on a farm and got used to physical labor at the age of 5-6 (picking up rocks from the field).

Great job Seb and Max. Nino has quickly become one of my favorite lifters to watch. His technique and power make him truly special. I've rewatched his performance here several times, but his 217kg C&J was, hands down, the best lift out of all 3 attempts. He made it look very easy considering this was his PB.

It's 2024 now - Pizzalato is in the past as one of the legends in 89kg category. Karlos has already established as the all time GOD of 89 kg. The Olympic Games later this year will be epic and I suspect if Karlos is healthy with no injuries, he will win all the gold medals in his category and will set the official start of a new era in 89kg.
