I always loved working on a smaller scale, and a few months ago I decided to make my own Victorian-inspired dress form, so I can make pretty dresses even if I only had some scraps and also try new ideas without wasting a lot of fabric. So I made four of them in different scales (half, third, quarter and sixth scales), and today I'm going to show you how you can make one with or without a stand.

The finial at 11:07 You could also use cabinet door knobs too, like those used for cabinets and drawers, but you would have to screw them on to secure them

Couldn't find the exact measurements for the hip, bust, waist of the 1:4 doll. Does anyone have them handy? Am thinking of buying the pattern and adjusting it to me, but would like to know how much work that will be, depending on the original sizes. -Thanks ahead of time!

Sabrina, it depends of the fabric and how much stuffing you would use, but 1:4 scale dress forms I made have these measurements: Bust - 10" (25cm) Waist - 6 1/2" (17cm) Hips - 11" (27cm)
