Thanks for the review! I love the whole 2ds line. I was collecting for the Vita and that's expensive as hell. The 2ds offered an inexpensive avenue to play 3ds games. Now it's the handheld I carry the most!

Yeah I bought a ds game for the nostalgia but don’t have a console 😂 So I’m thinking about picking up a brand new 2ds xl for only $120 at GameStop. Is it worth it in your opinion? Because I feel like it’ll be too light, the 3dsxl has a nice weight to it.

@@UsamaBeenHidin yea it just came in the mail a couple days ago and I'm loving it. It plays all the games well, my only problem is when I'm playing face raiders or using the camera its really laggy and I sometimes put my fingers on the cameras on accident.

Ah Yes, a comparison between a ‘Handheld gaming device that’s mostly using the camera for games, made by a gaming company that’s mostly known for their games and not their technology’ and a ‘modern device that gets remodeled over and over again to become better and better, especially because the camera is used in almost everything nowadays’ Makes a lot of sense.... I prefer the outside look of the New 3DS XL more but the New 2DS XL looks better on the inside

I can just imagine how cool an ultimate ds would be. It would have full backwards compatibility with 3ds, ds, and gameboy (all models), a good, high end smartphone quality camera, it would have a powerful gpu and would be able to run modern games and maybe switch games. But most of all: GOOD SPEAKER PLACEMENT (and maybe some actual good speakers) I have loads moree ideas for this amazing handhekd that will never happen but u dont get to hear them

I still prefer the regular Nintendo 3DS xl, because I like to use the white thing for amibos, the cameras are on the top, the select and start buttons are under the touch screen instead of beside the touch screen, and the home button is bigger. This is why I prefer the regular 3DS xl over the New 3DS xl, I just really like the 3DS xl model over the other 5 models, there are 6 models and I prefer the second one the best Oh and btw it's better if thw SD card I big and not very small

To be fair, the ds is only for certain games. A switch lite is fantastic for the more modern games 😉

The new 2ds xl costs more than the switch lol. Should've gotten one when I had the chance. It's literally the best handheld console to date. Switch lite and switch are good but if you want true on the go portability the 2ds XL is the way to go.

Yeah, that's lower than launch price. As long as it's brand new, I would say why not. They're very hard to find brand new now

hey is this worth and upgrade from the original 3ds xl? I replaced my old 3ds XL's circle pad recently but it's scuffed up on the edges of the hole where the circle pad goes through it's just not as appealing/smooth as it used to be I just can't decide :(

U can use a micro sd up to 512g. There are some tricks. I'm using a 256g msc for my n3dsxl right now

How do I prevent the hinge from breaking? My 3DS XL's right hinge cover broke off over time when I opened and closed it. The snapping seems to damage it every time you use the console.
