The error in the 2 minute area happens when the camera is broken. When you boot the 3DS into safe mode, the camera is not used and the displays power on. So basically: Either unplug the camera from the mainboard (pull the black ribbon cable from the corner) or swap the camera out.

I think the scariest error i ever had on a 3ds was with a modded 2ds with Luma CFW. It shows crash screens and it can happen when messing with cheats or homebrew. I was updating the custom firmware manually because of an offical firmware update and when i rebooted it had Kernel Panic as reason for crash. And thats the story of how I found out what Kernel Panic was and nearly shit myself because of it. The DS is fine though and still works to this day.

1:31 Thats the recovery mode of the 3ds. Its there to reinstall the FW If its corrupted, but he didn't know it would reinstall the FW instead of updating. However he did that automatically, IT'S normally only possible if you press L+R+A+Up when system is off. He has mostly a corrupted FW and booted in recovery to reinstall the FW on the system.

You forgot the blue screen of death, this ocours when: 1) bootloader or system corrupted (unknown) 2) do a bad hack 3) using gateway bad version (gateway is deprecated) This brick is unrecovered if you dont have a hard backup

There's another version of the BSoD Rarity: Easy-Very Hard Cause: Usually a broken component, mostly screen, and it's followed by a popping sound from the speaker. It means a part on the 3DS needs to be repaired or replaced.

That version of BSoD occurs when the system detects a hardware failure IIRC, it'll refuse to boot if it finds an issue. Its usually the speaker cable, it develops a micro tear thanks in part to the opening and closing of the system. The repair is tedious but it can be done, a mate repaired my launch year 3DS when it developed the issue.

There's an unofficial error that is incorporated in the Luma3DS CFW after version 8.0. It can occur when you try to run a 3DSX file.

You forgot about the BootROM error screen that can appear instantly after turning the 3DS on. It usually happens if the internal NAND(stores the OS and some console-unique information) becomes damaged or corrupt in some way. The easiest way of triggering it is by improperly modifying both FIRM partitions on the NAND.

I’ve gotten the game card error once (the one where there is something wrong with it) when I was playing Kirby Mass Attack, apparently I spilled a liquid on it and when I beat a mini game (Kirby’s Pinball) the game stopped and the error for the game where it says the game has been corrupted and every save file has been deleted appeared and when I tried to turn off the console because it told me to do that, the “an error has occurred” error happened, I was young so it scared me, but now I keep my game cards even more safe then normal.

That must've sucked I had the same thing happen to me when my friend acciddently got water on my New Nintendo 3ds XL a 2 years ago, it had an error message no matter how many things I tried to do to fix it so I sent it to Nintendo and they sent it back after a month and a half fixed but eventually started freezing the longer I played it regardless if I turned it on and off and now my warranty is expired :'(

You forgot the system shutoff error, where the system shuts off without warning if certain things are disconnected or not connected properly (ie: top screen primary ribbon cable is loose/disconnected/damaged). This can result in the system shutting off during bootup if it's not just loose.

I have encountered a few errors on the new 3ds. First one is when I tried playing the "nope.avi" video on loop with subtitles. Second is when I installed FreakyHax, but forgot to put the "starter" folder's documents in the root of the SD card. Third is by messing around a semi-loaded chunk (loaded/pretty much functional, but remains invisible) in Minecraft. Fourth is that at rare times the console freezes (I recall having this with Minecraft while exploring laggy areas/internet browser on a very weak Wi-Fi). I think the console freezing and the subtitle loop error could be due to my modded console, but the two others happened before it got modded

The black screen happened to me when I found it after months being lost in my stepsister's closet so I can finally play Animal Crossing: New Leaf again. I plugged it in the charger, turned it on, nothing. The light was red, which meant it's charging. The light was only working. Nothing else. There's also a Blue Screen Of Death that, as far as I know, only happens on modded consoles, since you can go into the SysNAND and modify it. I think the only way to fix it is by going back into the SysNAND and reverting your changes, or by restoring a back-up of your SysNAND. Otherwise it's dead.

I once had a weird error with my N3DS. I powered it on, and I got a BSoD. The strange thing about it was that the yellow LED would flash on and off rythmically. My 3DS is modded, so I was able to flash a NAND backup and it was fine. I can't find anyone else who had this specific error (with the WiFi flashing on and off).

2:06- It has one alternative: it needs a custom cartridge, and using the switch built in it, using to read NAND. You can install the boot and rename the original. This if the console is modded, if it’s not, you need to unlock the nand to dump it to the sd card via exploit.

The black screen is usually a soft brick, for cfw devices a NAND restore should fix it. There is also a menu combo to access system update

I have a ds game glitch for 3DS. If your loading a ds game and eject the game card at the right time, it shows a glitchy screen in the background and the system thinks you pressed the home button. To early it’s gonna show that the game cards been removed. To late it’s gonna show that an error has occurred. Try pulling it off!

IDK if you're aware of this, but there's one more error you forgot to add about the 3DS error, there's an pop noise issue I got from my 3DS, when I tried to boot it up, the power indicator will turn on, and then it will turn off with a small pop noise with the screens flashed in sync sometimes, few people got this type of error too and it can be solved a bit easier

The first error was kinda like a youtube jumpscare for me. Whenever I would watch youtube on my 3ds, it would randomly pop up with that first screen. Might be because this 3ds is, like, 4 years old.

One day i gotten too much water in my 2ds and i turned it on and What i was saw was scary. Yes it was night and i'm a scaredy cat. But the screen was a Light Blue with Yellow Text on it. I went to my parents room and told them i put on the charger and when i went to leave for school i checked on it. It turned on normal but it had a bubble or a air pocket (idk) so i left it alone once i got back home it was gone and ok Yay scarest day of my life ya HHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO

My 3DSXL's top screen up and died one day, it jittered, glitched out and died. Glitch: Sorta duplicated the picture, then one by one, the duplicates moved from the right to the left, then when no duplicates remained... It died. It lasted from 2015-2020. Had a good life indeed

i know you arent going this continue this series until a new console appears but you forgot a Nintendo DS error, Black Screen Of Death 1. Can happen when some circuits of the motherboard were damaged, such as GPU, files, both LCD's, etc. Most of the time this can happen due to the console losing color or receiving a big impact, it also when turned on just displays a Blue light/Green light, depending if its a NDS lite or a DSi 2. Same as 1, but instead the bottom screen is white and the top screen is black while displaying any of these error codes in a yellow text: 0000FE00,0000FEFE 3. Same as 2 except its the second phase, both screens will be black and display an error code (note that this code can vary depending on whats wrong with the console) I will edit this comment when i find the links for each one, so yeah all im leaving here is what does the error do, you also cant do absolutely nothing but stare at it,

By the way, if you drop your 2DS, the camera may not function if the back is a tiny bit cracked. If you homebrewed it, say goodbye to it. You can still use it, yes- but do you really want to do that? I recommend buying a Nintendo 3DS. It reduces a tiny bit of the back crack

Hi, I thought I would add my own errors in which I encountered such as if the Camera ribbon cable isn’t plugged in youll get an error message stating contact support and also if you break the latch for the backlight cable the 3ds will light blue then speaker will pop and the device shuts off.

3:20 I got this error when I tried to select a channel (I knew it was working) out of my region. For example, trying to use the Check Mii Out channel on a PAL wii but the Check Mii Out channel is NTSC-U.

There is one error on the 3DS that I haven't seen anywhere except for my brother. Now this story is going to sound like a "That Happened" story, but I swear it did. One day my brother was just going through the Eshop when his 3DS bluescreened, Windows bluescreened and the DS wouldn't work for about a week until working again. Again I have not seen this happen to anyone else and I do not know what caused the bluescreen. BTW this bluescreen was not the cause of hacking since we did not know how to do that back then

The reason its called: a Black screen of death is because on one of my TV's, the screen/ the light of the screen, is been fried and can no longer be used. The only thing you do, is listen to the sound of the channel your watching.

This isn't exactly the same, but my sibling has a 2DS and one day, the touch screen and buttons stopped working. Eventually, the screens wouldn't turn on. After a few months of leaving it alone, everything randomly started working again. It was very weird.
