I remember watching this over nine years ago, and being in awe of how cool the bowser's castle track looked before I knew it was neo bowser city. It's still my favorite Mario Kart track to this day. I can't believe that was so long ago... Where did the time go?

@MiiItalian The leaf was actually an item back in Super Mario Kart on the SNES. It allows you to jump high to get through certain obstacles and short cuts. I'm guessing that the leaf will do just the same in this game (though I could be wrong)

@redfoz200 tanooki suit is basically whipping your tail. blue shell is like the ds one but just a more powerful regular shell. Fire Flower has been shown. 7 is lucky number 7 which means you get a green and red shell, tanooki leaf, star, thunder, and fire flower and another one. that you can use. it circles around the player

@beckgilbert Well, they're most likely aiming for a roster about as big as Mario Kart Wii, maybe even bigger. However, they're also aiming to add quite a few newcomers, so if the roster isn't bigger than Mario Kart Wii's roster, characters will have to be removed, and King Boo might be one of those. Also, it hasn't been confirmed at all who's unlockable and who isn't, it wouldn't be the first time unlockables are shown in pre-release trailer.
