I a totally agree with you. I know they made pretty strange or bold choices these last years, wich I taught was a bad move. But I never lost hope in them, cause in the long run, they persevere. They are really trying to get back on track, to compete with the rest (like online functions ans such stuff) and they are getting there! But in most people eyes always 1 step behind. Personally, as long they are making Zelda games (and metroid and pokemon...) I will play them! GO BIG N GO! (And Nintendo great tip, get us some gameboy games on iOS and android. I think that would be a gold mine!)

My favorite is Wind Waker. I loved the sense of exploration over the seas, and thought it was a great well-crafted game. The Hero Mode on the HD version really makes it more challenging, as well, because I will admit it was fairly easy on the normal difficulty. Although, it wasn't my first Zelda game. That would be Phantom Hourglass...

Same here, my first Zelda game was also Phantom Hourglass, but Wind Waker is just so similar, that I sometimes feel like "Hey, I've done that before" or "Haven't I played the game already?".

My first one was Ocarina of Time, but Majora's Mask is my absolute favorite. I'm glad it's a lot more popular now, because back then Ocarina of Time was considered the greatest thing ever and anyone who dared to say another game was better got immediately bashed. I used to defend MM a lot, because it was always in OoT's shadow and was such an underrated masterpiece. Link's Awakening is my second favorite. I really love the Zelda where the dungeons aren't the main focus you get to interact with all those NPCs. (btw how're the news on that Majora's Mask remake/prequel/sequel?)

My first and favorite was Twilight princess, I grew up with Sega so I didn't get to play a Zelda game till the Gamecube, although the first Zelda game I experienced was Ocarina of time, as my sister had an N64 and I watched her play through it.

My first Zelda game was Minich Cap. I never really beaten the game and I loved it so deeply. Wind Waker was my 2nd Zelda game and I loved it more then MC. And when the HD remake came around, I couldn't put down my gamepad, it was so beautiful. Also, I have never played Link to the Past, but when I had the music at the start of Link between Worlds, I had so many chills and I knew this game was going be epic

Oh and a link to the past was my first video game ever so when I heard a sequel was coming I geeked out so hard. It's my second favorite behind twilight princess not because of its maturity and the fact that it's rated T, but the story was so good I couldn't stop playing it. Playing a link between worlds, I am feeling right now it could possibly top a link to the past. Gotta beat it first before I make my final decision!

My first was the original Legend of Zelda in all it's 8-bit glory Although it does hold a special place in my heart. I'm actually going to have to say that the third Zelda I've played, Ocarina of Time, is my favorite. sadly I missed Link to the Past and wasn't able to get a copy of the GBA re-release until high school. But gosh dang it! The skewered meat and vegetables would have been a perfect way to reference the meat in the first game. Come on!

I did not actually beat Majora's Mask, as 7 year old me was clueless on how to beat such a game with a time limit, but 10 year old me beat Ocarina of Time later on on the N64. I've actually made pieces of heart cakes and my bf even made me a Triforce cookie cutter that I use. (On a partially unrelated note I wish PBG was in this...) My first Zelda game was A Link to the Past. I have to say it isn't my absolute favourite but it holds a special place in my heart (container). I had read the Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons choose your own adventure books and was really eager to try the games at that point. I went to Rogers and they didn't have either of them but one of the sales clerks showed me Link to the Past and said he had it on his own GBA in the back and he brought it out so I could try it. If I ever somehow meet this guy again there's only one thing I want to say to him. Thank you....
