Nintendo 64 Longplay - Diddy Kong Racing Part 6 (F.Funland & Wizpig Boss Race 2)

Part 6 of this Longplay run. Emulator of choice: Mupen64-rr-v8. Recorder used: BB Flashback Pro. And as you can gather, I got it working in widescreen.
This ain't a perfect run, and I have no intentions on making it so. Nor do I plan on using cheats. Once I at least find the key in each world, I proceed to play as usual. And yes, I did an in game restart on some races. Either from focusing on getting some keys, knowing that by getting them I wouldn't finish the race. Or, because of mistakes I made.
And considering the time I spent recording these videos, I'm not deleting them. Took too long recording each one, so not caring about perfection. Sorry.

Incredible! Like most other people who played this game as a kid, I completely missed this space world. I had given up when I had to collect all the coins for each of the worlds.

Holy jumping shit balls, I've had this game for like 20 years and never even got here!!!!!! I immediately had to go on my Nintendo and try it out. I was dumbfounded.

The part when you just finish Star City and then the special ONE-TIME song, still make feel extremely serious in the way of think "There's no turn back, risk everything or let the giant pig laugh in your face while i face my disgrace!"" feeling. xD

Nice. Looking forward to it. I do plan on doing this game again, but probably by way of livestream. I did it before, but more or less, the sound came out pretty bad. Wasn't as top quality as the run I did here. So, I'm definitely going to be doing it in full this time. Including the effort to get TT as well.

and was clipping very hard, next time check the volume while recording, it will help avoid the overvolume problem (audio clipping) xD some bits will be trough periscope because, HELL the bad quality there... a video look way better now.

That's just it, I did check it. But I found out long afterwards, it was a plugin issue, because for some reason, I changed one option, and didn't realize it, until long after it was done. But that's okay, I still plan on doing the live stream. Just trying to decide either Twitch or here on KZbin.

I really wonder why Bubbler was not in the end scene. All of the characters (bosses included minus Bubbler) were there. Wonder if Bubbler really was evil and really was Wizpig's henchman

In Future Fun land, you need to collect all the silver coins around the galaxy. You gotta find 8 from each level & win & then finally Beat Wizpig, at his hideout.

The part that confused me is when you hear Wizpig laugh at the end. That usually means a sequel. But sadly ass Microsoft goes, that never happened. :'(

I don't think Microsoft could make a sequel even if they wanted to. I think Diddy Kong Racing is a Nintendo-owned game even though Rare published it. This explains why when Diddy Kong Racing was redone for the Nintendo DS, Conker and Banjo were replaced. It also explains why the Rare logo was removed from Tumber's hat. So it would most likely be up to Nintendo to create a true Diddy Kong Racing sequel. Although, I'm sure Rare and Microsoft COULD create a game that's similar to DKR.
