@@Broomer52 I can depend on the point of view, someone could be willing to get used to the loss and loneliness to see the evolution of the universe and possibly see a new one be born. But in Porky's case he can't even enjoy that, seeing as he's immortal but his body still ages and the pod is just for "safety", he'll probably be a living skeleton by the end of the universe.

@@Broomer52 That’s the thing about people blatantly ignoring how many types of "immortality" there are. I see nothing wrong with having Highlander / Mermaid Forest kind of immortality - you *could* live forever if you wanted to since your biological lifespan is unlimited, but nothing stops you from playing sudoku after a couple hundred/thousand years when you've tried out everything you wanted and are now bored out of your mind.

So about the Mother series, it started with helping a confused Giygas trying to mourn the passing of his **ahem** "Mother", Earthbound Giygas return with so much anger and evil thoughts that started possessing people in the world and he gets deleted by good thoughts and a kid that reminded him of the past, and Mother 3, Porky, one of the possessed humans that escaped tried to end the world and he gets stuck for all eternity inside a pod. Mother 3 is all kinds of wrong, and i even didn't have to mention Claus.

im not sure if its canon or not but Mighty Gazelle actually has a worst back story in the anime F Zero Falcon Densetsu and if you watch it in the dub you will notice that the main character is voiced by Kaiba/brock and god knows how many other characters he does

In fact, Ganon could NOT decide to be a Good Guy. As in it'd be literally impossible for him. Simply cause, the curse means that he is, in fact, nothing but Demise's Hatred and Greed incarnate.

Like, Ganondorf could maybe choose to turn over a new leaf, or just stop fighting in one way or another, but Ganon would just go to a new host at that point. Or become a disembodied specter of pure hate that, with nowhere else to go, eventually starts possessing the machines that were built to destroy it.

I'm pretty sure Ganon does remember all of his reincarnations; at least, that's what the Super Smash Bros. community leads me to believe. Also, about the time thing: I actually explore that concept in one of my stories. A woman gets trapped in a world outside of space and time for years, and not only does she not age in all that time, but her body experiences no physical progression at all, so she never needs to eat, sleep, or use the bathroom.

Ganondorf only actually reincarnates once in the whole series, every other appearance is just the exact same guy, progressively warped into a more and more depraved incarnation of evil with each defeat, his origin as a gerudo buried and lost.

Ganon only really got reincarnated once, in the adult timeline between Twilight Princess and Four Swords Adventure. In the child timeline he got turned in stone and left at the bottom of the ocean. In the downfall timeline he constantly got exiled in the sacred realm or killed just to be brought back to life until he lost his mental capacities.

Now the Ganon thing is technically wrong and is arguably worse. Since he only has two confirmed reincarnations. The example they used of being revived as a mindless beast is the same Ganon from Ocarina of Time brought back from the dead in a botched ritual so yeah. He cannot catch a break long enough to even *get* reincarnated. Also he *can’t* be a good guy since he’s literally Demise’s feelings of hatred turned into flesh.

@@dwinters6291 Vaati was never a reincarnation though. He was corrupted from a magic hat, not from any relationship with Demise. Unless you’re talking about Four Swords Adventures where that is confirmed to be a completely different Ganon.

@@dwinters6291 I thought it was two or three times though, after OOT and ALTTP where he's just in the Dark World, he came back in ALBW (although being a really quick reencarnation i guess or maybe it was just Yuga being possessed) and Zelda 1, in TP is still the same one from OOT just with a different form so tecnically it doesn't count, and then the last one in BOTW even being calamity Ganon he still transforms in pig Ganon in the end. And i'm counting the ones where he's in full pig form.

The machine isn't to power his immortality. The machine is just so he can MOVE. Due to his time travel shenanigans Porky can no longer be killed by old age. But because of his old age he can barely even move on his own two feet. Even if the machine he is in breaks down, Porky will live forever. But at least in the Absolutely Safe Capsule, he will never hurt anyone ever again.

So uh, as far as I can tell, they won't starve or digest I guess but they do get to at least move. Meanwhile, the world is definitely not moving around them unless someone interacts with something. So like, the sentient ones kinda live and move but other things don't. The main ones we know that exist are Grovyle and the Main Character, probably kept alive by Celebi. I'm pretty sure most other Pokemon are ghosts, right? Dusknoir, Sableye, Gastly, Spiritomb, etc. And then Primal Dialga.
