The DS definitely had the best Pokemon games. It had both HGSS and Platinum which are both considered to be the best Pokemon games ever. That beginning jingle was a nice touch. I have to admit something and hope I don’t get angry people at me: I never owned a Nintendo DS. I know, this is a Nintendo based channel and I am a full Nintendo gamer, but there was something that amde me choose a PSP than a DS. It wasn’t until 2014 when my cousin convinced me to buy a 3DS for the pokemon games and I was starting college. Huh!? Avalon Code lists _Minako Adachi_ as composer in that clip at 24:00. She joined Game Freak in 2009, which is one year after Avalon Code released, and has since been working on Pokémon, HarmoKnight and is listed as "Special Thanks" in Pocket Card Jockey. So I'm intrigued now, Zion! =D Just learned that apparently she also composed all of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons, according to VGMDB ("Zelda 30th Anniversary Collection")! =O For BW she did 2 musicals, Lostlorn Forest, a couple fanfares, and an arrangement of the Final Boss against N for the soundtrack release. In XY and the games since, it was always like half the soundtrack, way more than I could list individually! =P
@ongakuwotabeta3 күн бұрын
This lines up with the freakleaks, as while some of the music is in 2008 builds of BW, none of the mentioned songs were in there until sometime in 2009. The game freak leaks confirmed this

I was a full on Sony fanboy when the DS came out. I went with the PSP as graphically the DS was like a decade behind. I eventually got a DSi XL like 9 months before the 3DS got announced/released. Felt like a sucker 😅. I only got an R4 card for the DSi and played several games. I think I only finished a DBZ game on it and played a bunch of Mario 64DS. Fast forward some years later I got a 3DSXL (later upgraded to the N3DSXL) and Wii U (big select of games in my possession for both consoles) and have been a Nintendo fanboy ever since. I play Xbox and since a week PlayStation again, but for me with Nintendo you can’t go wrong. I really should look into the DS library again. But then again I’ve got several hundreds of games in my backlog as well. One thing I’m impressed about my DSi XL is that the battery holds charge forever!
