Hi, I'm the Spanish translator of the FNAF port of Source Macchiato, thank you very much for talking about our project, I wanted to clear why we didn't add the possibility to use both cameras at the same time and say a couple of notes. The problem with the camera is that some jumpscares use it as a transition, and if we remove the transition, the jumpscare is going to appear from nowhere, which wouldn't look good (I'm not saying the other remake is bad, I'm just pointing out why we didn't implement it), the next version v1.3 currently in development will add the possibility of choosing between a TV-only, Gamepad-only and dualscreen mode, Wiimote support, the custom night and some bug fixes. We are also currently developing a port for Fnaf 2 in collaboration with The Latte Team, another group that has made and is working on lots of Wii U ports, such as Baldi's Basics, Kindergarten, Golfing over it with alva majo, are currently in the development of Cuphead and more, we (Source Macchiato) are also currently making a new version of Portal Wii U, with updated graphics, modding support and hopefully eventually making the entire Orange Box on Wii U, but we have also other projects (such as an Indie game) so we don't know how much time that will take. Dev mode on the xbox series consoles is actually something that might be worth looking into. the series s is a emulation powerhouse from what I've been told. Also, I've actually been in the process of re-modding my Wii U so this video is very relevant to me. I've been meaning to look into a way to mod the Wii mode easily on the Wii U as well as the Wii U system itself!

There is one big specific problem i found when modding the Wii U, you can only have 300 icons on the home screen. My plan was to have my Wii U act as an "everything" console. Emulating everything from NES-Wii and have as many Wii U games on the hard drive as i could. Unfortunately, when it was time to install Gamecube games, it said i ran out of space and wouldnt load the installed media until i deleted one of my pre-existing icons. To my knowledge, nobody has broken this 300-game barrier, and that unfortunately put a stop to most of my Wii U modding.

One account = 300 games. You need to create more accoun beucase each account cna only hold 300 games. You can create 10 accounts or more per WiiU = 3000 games/Applications.

Hey, nice video! It definitely is nice to show the upsides to modding and giving life to your old hardware. Though, at 6:53 I would have not thrown in the mention of Loadiine without going into more detail in NOT using it. Aroma and other software have been long evolving, and Loadiine now has a lot of issues, mainly it's games. Currently a friend tried to use the tools you mentioned and caused a corruption on his Aroma install. It is a nice throwback, but I would have made that point it's deprecated a little bit more clear and to NOT use it unless you truly know what you're doing. No hate of course!!!

I modded my wii u a few months back just for pretendo since the OG splatoon servers shut down, but I honestly can't wait to get back to it whenever I'm home again. I didn't know you could use the gamepad as a classic controller, and strangely that makes me way more interested to try it out tbh

I would be very excited to see a fat PS3 be modded. I think at some point I may just do that with my own console but I don't know if it's better to mod the slim or fat model overall. The fat one should be better since it is older and has all the hardware inside but I also kind of want to keep it as it is for how precious the hardware is and how the fat PS3 models can easily die at any point nowadays

I’d recommend modding a fat model considering that pretty much any fat model is almost guaranteed to be compatible with cfw without bricking the system. slim models are highly dependent on which specific slim model you have, so if you don’t have a slim model compatible with cfw you’re pretty much fucked, and super slim models are just not comparable at all no matter what. you can use the alternative HEN but it’s a bit more limited than CFW and you’ll have to manually turn it on every time.

I’d also recommend MrMario2011’s videos on modding a ps3, as they are the best tutorials out there on how to mod one imo. It’s still up to you though if you want to mod one lol

Using the SD Card for the installation file scratch space lets you squeeze out all the capacity of your actual storages though.

It's also a bit of a modding nightmare. With all the NAND corruption and error codes and ways things can go bad. And don't buy a cheap Japanese console thinking you can convert it to USA. You can BUT you will need a Japanese gamepad to begin with and then your gamepad will be the wrong region and you will need a USA gamepad to continue modding... By then you might get frustrated and stuff the whole thing in a box to never look at again, while questioning your life choices and possibly triggering an existential crisis.

Yes but connectivity issues with the gamepad to the console can be fixed. Try replacing either the MICA2 or MICB2 chips. They vary in price but the fix is pretty easy and there are guides online. Best of luck

Im currently planning on to study hard so my aunt can get me a wii u or a new 3ds xl for my bday/christmas gift.
