Nintendo DSi Unboxing Pt1 (Blue)

Here it is guys, My wifes birthday gift to me (I love this chick) So far the browsers ok, not fast, but bearable. I can't watch KZbin ViDs on it but can comment in the channel pages. Gmail works great. The WEP2 security I have set up in the house did sync up and works great. The camera works OK, I have to try it out out side in the day light but does an OK job indoors. I'll make a second part to this vid so you guys can see.

Hxileyween -- Also the blue one, BUT I have a story about it… This is just after it launched. Had my DS and DS lite ready to trade in for it. Went to GameStop with my mom and was ready to finally get it. I was talking to the guy, and I needed to decide what color I wanted. There was blue and black, and I didn't know what to get. Out of nowhere he said "I'm not really supposed to show you this, but there's a new color coming out tomorrow." He pulled it out and showed me it, the white one. I was so excited! You know that feeling that you just want to scream, but can't? It was that feeling. He was going to let me buy the white one a day early, but instead of taking it, I just couldn't decide. Eventually, we decided to wait and come back tomorrow, so I could decide… and so the guy wouldn't get in trouble if he got caught. I grabbed my stuff, and ran out the door in excitement. Half way there, I tripped, slamming into the ground and dropping everything. I hurt my knee, but was too excited to care. Picked it all up and ran right to the car. Went home, came back the next day and got the blue one. Then we went to Atlanta Bread Company. I opened it while eating broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl. The end.

I was 11 years old when he uploaded this video and I would watch the video almost every day until I eventually got my DSi (which was until my birthday in December) and now I'm almost 26 years old wondering where the hell the years went. These things are indestructible. I've dropped it so many times,into water and mud. Mine has had so many custom paint jobs done by me with spray cans, I accidentally spray painted into the charging port twice still charges. I took it half across America! I got it used in 2014 it was all dirty and stuff the camera doesn't work the mic doesn't work and I've maxed out the picture memory. Best console I ever owned!

I remember when I got my DSi XL. My auntie had forgotten my birthday and got my brother and herself a present when we went to the mall (my brother, auntie and I have our birthday in the same month) and I didn’t say anything because we aren’t rich and I didn’t expect her or anyone to get me anything. When we got home, she found out my birthday had passed and I didn’t get anything, so she asked me what I wanted and I said a DSi because I wanted a camera so bad and I loved my brother’s DS Lite. She took me to gamestop at the mall and She got me a black DSi XL, Mario and Luigi Bowser Inside story and Super Mario 64 DS. It was one of the happiest moments of my childhood . I kept it in good condition for years, but it broke about a year or 2 ago. I still have it in hopes of fixing it someday. I have so many pictures, flipnotes and sound recordings on it. I miss being so young and not depressed. Even though things were fucked up then, at least I didn’t understand enough for everything that happened to hurt me as much as the same things would hurt me now.

My personal review is that the Nintendo DSI is a great game system. Compared to the DS and DS lite is is a bit different. The charging light, power light, and usb light is not on the right anymore it is now on the left. The DSI has a different type of volume switch. You can take pictures and edit pictures. You can also record sounds. On the DSIWare you can get the Web Browser and FlipNote studio. The Nintendo DSI is a five star game system.
